In the midst of battling a man emerges from the forest and orders a halt, Kira looks over to Buliwyf to see if he will comply and he does so she lowers her bow. Buliwyf approaches the man and they converse a bit, she is too far off to hear most of it.
Then she hears Buliwyf, "I lead these men yes."We will follow."
Kira wonders what is going on but she decides to go along with the plan.
She notices Kifu not too far off and runs over to him, she sees him crying for some reason. She reaches into her pouch and pulls out the eye she had taken from the soldier.
"Here, I thought you might like this," she hands him the eye and he stops crying.

"I have heard little of this king, but I have heard his name before." said Buliwyf. "I ask you exercise restraint in your actions, that goes for all of you, while this group have not shown any hostility, some of those from Bramwell may not be so leniant towards us. Let us find out what the king wants, and be done with the whole thing."

The soldier, introduced as the second in command, stepped forward.
"It is time to depart," he said. "We will march until it is too dark to see. The next day we rise at dawn and complete our trek towards Bramwell. With any luck we'll be there by noon. Pray we do not meet company along the way."
With that, he nodded at Bulywif, turned, and walked back the way he had come. The other men began to follow him.
Warick walked toward Bramwell along with the rest of his group I don't understand why don't just kill these bastards.... make life so much damn easier. Warick turned to one of the soldiers next to him "You should have seen how me and that fellow over there took out that dead Riddian general." The soldier stood and stared forward with a stone face. "It's a shame you guys had to show up, we were all just getting ready to behead the man and drink the blood from his freshly slain corpse," Warick lied. "Nothing like fresh blood from a general," he said to the soldier as he licked his lips. The soldier shuddered and slowly moved away from Warick but continued on.
Ignis laughed at the man inching away from Warrick, obviously disturbed by the comments he had made.
"Naw, Warick, it's nothing to do with the blood, the bones are what you can really make use of. Ever made a crib out of a man's ribcage? I've never seen a child sleep more soundly." Ignis said loud enough for the Bramwell soldier to hear, and watched as he left the area entirely, and marched to the front of their convoy.

"One in every 10 million people can potentially have a headache from this pill." God forbid she is the 0.000000001% of having a headache.
As the group marched on, the leader of the Bramwell company allowed his pace to slow, inching his way back through the line of soldiers to Bulywif.
"I appologize," he said, his voice sincere, "I did not mean to be so rude earlier."
"I have been disturbed these past few weeks. There is great evil stirring in these parts and as the man charged with my kingdom's protection, I cannot help but suffer the effects of such stressful leadership... I am sure you know of what I speak. But that is no excuse for overlooking the principles of first contact."
He glanced away, eyeing the woods suspiciously for several moments before turning back.
"I am Atrion, son of Demetrion. I command these men and several other divisions like them in the name of the King, Mentaeus. And you; you command this ragtag group of.. interesting characters. I would know your name and your purpose.. if you would give it me."
"Your conduct was no more than I would have no doubt displayed were I in your place. We are but mercenaries. Hired swords, our alligence is to who ever has the deepest pocket." replied Buliwyf eyeing Atrion up and down as the walked.
"I am Buliwyf. I am the leader of these men and women. The Knights of the Burning Blade. We were hired by Tapas to defend them against the attacks from Riddia. We met with Riddia's forces in the plains, and crushed them with ease. Too much it would seem. For when we returned to Tapas, we found it burning. We were on our way to avenge Tapas. If what you say is true, and Riddia has been destroyed, then the souls of Tapas can rest easy, for their vengence has been met."

Kira laughs at the stories Ignis and Warrick are telling the soldiers. She looks around for the horses and heads over to them. She scratches her mounts nose and digs in the saddle bag for a carrot for him. Kira then wonders where Buti has disappeared to as she scans the group.

Buliwyf turned around to face him fellow adventurers, noting the looks on their faces.
"How much further is it now until we reach Bramwell?" asked Buliwyf. "I mean not to sound impatient, but you did deny my men the chance to spill some blood. All this walking is making them rather restless. Perhaps a good meal and some good alcohol will make them forget their blood lust."

"Buti must not have come with us, guess she decided to leave the group and set out on her own," she thinks to herself.
"Naw, Warick, it's nothing to do with the blood, the bones are what you can really make use of. Ever made a crib out of a man's ribcage? I've never seen a child sleep more soundly." She laughs out loud as the soldier stares at her in horror and continues his way to the front.
Kira sighs as she grows restless and wonders how much longer they will be on the road.

Buliwyf fell back into the group near Kira and Warrick.
"You would do well to abide by the customs of bramwell as best you can when we get there." said buliwyf overhearing the conversation of Kira and Warrick. "I will not risk outrage and undue attention being brought on us, if it can be avoided. That does not mean you cannot have fun if the oppurtunity presents itself. Bramwell is renowned for it's taverny."
Buliwyf quickened his pace a little to once again be at the fore of the group.
"Tell me Atrion, son of Demetrion, how is Bramwell faring these days? It has been many a year since I last passed by it."

"Oh alright, no more teasing the soldiers. I guess I can wait till we get to the taverns," she replies. Kira, with her head down from the rebuking, kicks at a stone as Buliwyf heads back up to the front. She grumbles a bit but realizes he is probably right.

"It is not far from here, but the terrain is difficult and we must take the long way around to accomodate your wagons and horses."
Atrion could tell that the response was not adequate. Not by any means. He was hiding something, and he knew that this mercenary character, if he had any wits about him at all, could likely tell that as well. Still, he had his orders, and he wasn't about to disobey his king.
He watched with a watchful eye as the mercenary slowed his pace, dropping back to speak with his men. Atrion did not bother trying to overhear. It was the right of a leader of men to speak with them, for good or ill. Besides, both of them knew who held the superior force.
"Tell me Atrion, son of Demetrion, how is Bramwell faring these days?"
The words startled him, but he did not show it. Years of experience had forged a hefty resistance to being startled.
"It has been many a year since I last passed by it."
"Oh?" he responded, his interest evident. "So you have been here before?"
"Oh?" he responded, his interest evident. "So you have been here before?"
"Yes. But it was a long time ago." Buliwyf replied. "In the days of my youth, I would often hunt wildlife along it's borders, and while I never spend any real length of time within the town itself, it was always an impressive sight to behold."

Kira sees that Buliwyf is speaking to leader of the army and wonders what they are saying. She stealthily sneaks up within hearing distance, hoping to hear some kind of good news, unfortunately they are just sharing stories about Bramwell. She sighs and and works her way back through their people looking for Ignis and Warrick. Not seeing them, she wonder what mischief they are up too and wishes she were with them, She is getting very anxious for something to happen.
Kira decides to head over towards her horse, she pats them as they walk and picks up a few pebbles scans the soldiers around her to guage how much they are paying attention to her. When she realizes they really arn't giving her much mind, she launches a pebble that hits one soldier in the arm and quickly goes back to patting her horse. She hears the soldier grumble and giggles to herself. She pulls her horse over a bit and launches another pebble hitting, this time hitting a soldier in the arse. Again, she returns to her horse so as not to attract attention to herself. She looks up in time to see the soldier still rubbing his behind and accidently lets out a laugh. He turns and glares at her but keeps walking.
She picks up a few more pebbles and leads her horse to another spot. She picks out a target and gets ready to let loose another pebble when from behind her a soldier grabs her arm and squeezes tighly and raises his short sword ready to hit her with the flat of the blade. Quickly with her other hand she reaches in her bag and grabs a dagger and points it at his nether regions and says "if you don't let go of my hand you will no longer be able to perform your husbandly duties." She then pushes slightly against him and his eyes grow in surprise that she was able to draw on him without him realizing it.
The soldier then smiles, lets out a nervous laugh and realeases her hand. "You drew on me and I didn't even see it. I have underestimated you lady, I will not make that mistake again."
Kira smiles and asks, "what are the taverns like in Bramwell?"
The solider grins, "you would do well to watch your back in them, I could easily have put my sword through you instead of grabbing your hand," and walks away.
She realizes she had made the same mistake her teachers had chastized her for, not being aware of all of her surroundings. Mad at herself she threw the remaining pebble down and decided to work on taking in who and what is around her.

"An EYE! I see, I see hehehe... thank you Kira, one of my zombies lost one in a previous fight. He will be excited to get a new one haha.."
Kifu looked around to the rest of the group, blindly following this new man, perhaps to safety or perhaps to their impending doom.
"So... what do you think awaits us?" Kifu asks to no one in particular.

He looked over towards his other comrades, unsure of this new predicament.
"I pray we all have a safe journey to Bramwell, and in Bramwell" Viktor said aloud.
"Hehehe.." Kifu laughed at a thought in his head.
"Quiet down you" one of the soldiers stated to Kifu.
"What's wrong with you?" he followed as he looked at Kifu skipping.
"What isn't wrong with me is what you should be asking....hahaha"
The soldier turned his head back towards their path as the confusion of what Kifu said rattled around in his head.
