Overall pretty good build. Small tweaks can be made based on personal choices and options... but that build you have there should last you for years to come. (One can only hope).
I would say consider getting an ssd (personally I haven't gotten one cause I still think they are too expensive but looking on ur case I don't think ur as cheap as me :P) and/or get a bigger hdd. I don't know what you use ur pc for but personally I have a lot of movies/music/tv shows on it which especialy if u like a mediocre/high quality can fill up a hdd really fast. I'm not talking about hording or anything but 500gb isn't that much if u consider how much space your os/programs/games take up then adding the other things.
Else just keep ur files organized so you can easily add another hdd later on and move them around so it doesn't end up a mess =)
Otherwise it looks kinda nice. Can't comment on the cpu cause I never bothered reading into the new restrictions on overclocking considering the old cpus didn't have this problem which makes me kinda sad :(.
Yeah to expensive for me right now i wanted to be able to fit a 680 into my budget.
And then have the normal HDD as extra storage for everything but run the system from SDD it will help a lot. Don’t know which model though so choose whatever you prefer or depending on how much cash uve got left
Yeah I want an SSD, but my budget runs short... I've got an external drive that's a terabyte already, but I don't think fire wire is faster than a sata 6gb/s 7200 rpm hdd so I'm just going to stick with the one I picked out, if it is though... Please correct me, because I'll be happy to get a slightly more expensive SSD instead.
EDIT: changed mobo to z77 going to be getting ivy bridge cpu when they come out, look sweet.

Also if you ever want to overclock you need the "k" CPU. The one you picked has locked multiplier.
You said 2GB lol

Expensive
I have a 1tb external HDD, and changed to 'k' thought I had one...
(I also think I'm going to wait until June when Intel is supposed to release their new ivy bridge series of processors to the public.)
