How can you guys say that about the nomad? Come on now. Do you know how that will change the stragety of all players who uses terran. I would have 3 or more of those things fly to a base and unload its payload of auto turrets. AWESOMOUS!!! <---my word (c)

Those before me shall quiver in my wake as I unleash the fury within!
Exactly what I was thinking, only more along the lines of an army of dropships fly in to take missle turret hits, some marines+medics to occupy ground guys, and a dozen nomads all dropping turret in the enemy's back lines.
Well the biggest complaints I've heard about the game are mostly toward the aesthetics. But I think everyone is really looking forward to the new aspects of gameplay such as being able to research new weapons and technologies in between missions. As well as being able to go to different planets as opposed to a fully linear mission to mission kind of gameplay.
Not everyone. A lot of people I think are only intrested in the Multiplayer part, and will have no joy out of singleplayer improvements.
I think Starcraft 2 will fail in the multipayer aspect. It's going to be hard to balance everything as well as in SC1.

I'm not saying it is bad, I'm sure it'll be wonderful to use. I'm saying it looks bad. A gigantic U that's colored red and yellow. Whee!
PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.

Great, than we can all just go back to SC1

It will be just as hard. If Blizzard will bother patching it, it would be as huge as SC1, or else I'm not sure why make SC2 - to make a StarCraft MMO? I guess that is possible as well.
I don't think people will go back per se, they will both exist paralell to each other. But, if SC2 blows it's predecessor out of the water, SC1 will disappear. I do not think that will happen though.

Probably. But given all the RTS games out there, and WC3, and how balanced most of the are, it's far from certain that Blizzard will succeed like they did with the first game.
