Ron Paul was the only republican who made sense, and every time he did, all of the other asshole candidates like guiliana would snicker. Yeah, real nice campaign Guiliani you jackass. Every republican wa so obnoxious and immature. The way they treated Ron Paul made me sick. This is a doctor, a congressman, a man of high prestige. And you guys are going to laugh at him? Christ, show some respect, hes making more sense that any of you other assholes anyway. I was so turned off by the republican party this year it was ridiculous.
If you want a little perspective on McCain watch this video on the Keating 5 Scandal, now granted it's a left leaning video intended to make McCain look bad for the election but you can't deny a few facts.
1) In the 80's this was the largest financial scandal in US history to date. I recall it was quit the scandal back then. Today it's a gnat on the elephants ass today.
2) McCain was a close friend to Keating and recieved significant donations from him
3) McCain was very close to getting his ass indicted http://www.keatingeconomics.com/

Sometimes I hate to call myself a democrat, simply becuase both parties seem to be so unfavorable now.
The problem is that both parties have the same goal, profiting. They don't have our best interests on their conscious when they have their wallets to obsess over.

Yeah that is really the truth of it both have been hypocritical over the years, both have been corrupt and I'm not talking just a senator here a senator there. For many who pay attention to politics it kind of works like this. In your teens and 20's you start to care about issues and become a Democrat on principle, in the 30's you become a republican because they seem fiscally more responsible (at least before Bush they did) and in your 40's you learn both parties are lying bastards and you don't believe either after seeing how badly they have broken their words.
Robert Kiyosaki talks about the corruption of both parties as well in his new free online book 'The Conspiracy Of The Rich' http://www.conspiracyoftherich.com/
He throws both political parties for the last 30 years under the bus for catering to the corrupt because at the end of the day the super rich use politicians to get what they want. Both Republicans and Democrats are guilty as sin for doing this. Bush 41 defended these slobs in the Gulf war, Clinton?s Rubin, Summers, and Geithner aided in the formation of Citigroup by helping to repeal the Glass-Steagall Act of 1933 that lead to this very crash! Bush 43 gave us the Iraq war to defend them too, remember Bush?s pro-war speech about ?to preserve our way of life?, who?s life? Why those he famously called his base and we call the elite.
I hurl every time I see that, mind you I'm not against making money, but this said so much more and he was either too stupid to realize how much he said or just uncaring that he verbally flipped off most Americans. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mn4daYJzyls
Both party's ushered in deregulation with the 'The Commodity Futures Modernization Act of 2000' passing it with a near-unanimous House vote (377 to 4)
Excerpt
The House and Senate consensus legislation removes outdated prohibitions against single stock futures, streamlines the regulation of U.S. futures exchanges, and limits the jurisdiction of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission. By eliminating the sources of legal uncertainty that impede innovation in product development and the use of electronic trading and clearing facilities, the legislation addresses the systemic risks of a papered-over system. http://agriculture.house.gov/press/106/pr001215.html
Obama is trying to save the same slobs again with Rubin, Summers, and Geithner at the helm, the ones who helped to create the environment that lead to the collapse are now entrusted to fix it!? Wow what a co-inky-dink! Right now the leviathans are fighting for control, no video, no exposure; no news is going to change that course. So for people like you and me the question is do we want to be its victim? Personally I will invest to help my family rather than get between the two, oh I'll bitch about them online and write my representatives hoping change is coming, but I'm investing where the money is going, not leaving. The bailout both parties voted yes for, that was so the elite slobs could save themselves.

There are too many people that exploit government "help" programs and don't do jack but sit on their asses. Not to say everyone does it.. but there's a good lot that do.

Watching 240 guys talk trash about cavaliers is like two retards having a slapfight over a sippy cup.

This brings up illegal immigrants. There are pros and cons to them
Pros
1.They take the jobs you would never do
2.They are just looking for a better life sometimes
Cons
1.They don't have a social security number, thus reaping tax-free benefits and hospital services
2.Sometimes they can be dangerous.
I think this issue should be assessed by Pres. Obama. Personally, I think people are over-zealously against them sometimes.

New Bern is in North Carolina. It is in the United States.
Don't forget that we have a lot of "Hidden Taxes" as well. Taxes that we aren't informed of.
Oh how true that is, the Democrats tax and spend, Republicans lower taxes and spend it anyways. One is overt tax, the other is stealth tax, both are bad.
And the death tax and estate tax is pretty damn bad as well... that is double taxing.
We shouldn't be taxed a second time for things that were already previously taxed.
I always thought that was illegal?
<<That video was a good watch.>>

Ron Paul was the only Republican that got my attention this time around.

Here is an interesting video with Milton Freidman, only 2 minutes. I won't say to agree or disagree with, only to watch it.

There will always be taxes; whoever tells you you're being taxed, I'm with them.
