Phasys fled from the stairs before seeing the finest crafted weapon of the gods rain down upon the demons. A bookcase. Phasys fled for his life as the bookcase chaotically fell upon the Fallens and undead. Phasys ran out the door and climbed the sheet that Venex had climbed. Phasys saw Thufir falling, luckily not down the stairs. Phasys bolted toward him and caught him.
"Venex! I need your help! It's Thufir, I'm losing him, fast! Johnny, kill the remaining demons!"
Johnny cocked his head to the side before Venex said: "Do it!" Venex then ran toward Thufir.

Zubin woke up suddenly and saw a shaman standing in front of him ready to shoot a fire bolt. Zubin could not decide anything and gave kicked the shaman and ran away picking up his bag and Darklaw. The darklaw was heavy but he was running quickly. Suddenly a fire bolt came flying through and hit him and he fell down. He was injured but knew that if he lied there, he would die. He ran with his utmost speed with the shaman still following him. He headed towards a building, he could not remember what it was in the pitch black night. He suddenly saw Johnny standing and shouted : ''Johnny, get Venex for help, i'm stuck here with this *boom*''.
There came another fire bolt and hit him in one of his leg and this time it caused some serious injuries. Zubin was lying next to the building shouting for help. As he saw the shaman approaching towards him.
Johnny went inside the building but it seemed he didn't listen but suddenly a voice came :''I'm coming friend''.

The bookcase toppled over, crushing the demons in the way, and sending others fleeing. Johnny managed to cut some more down as Phasys disappeared out the front door. Venex smashed a demon's face with a board from the bookcase that had come loose. "Venex!" it was Phasys. "I need your help! It's Thufir, I'm losing him, fast!" Venex spun around to face them. He saw Phasys, cradling Thufir in his arms, the man's blood pooling around them. The wound was bad. Venex knew they could not get Thufir to a healer in time.
"Johnny, kill the remaining demons!" said Phasys ... "Do it!" ordered the Necromancer without turning to look at the skeleton.
Venex knew what had to be done. He pulled out his dagger and without flinching, cut his arm. Blood magic. It was their only chance. He let the blood flow from his arm around Thufir's wound, the bone clearly visible. The man's eyes rolled back into his head. "Meus cruor. Vestri vita," said the Necromancer. My blood, your life. The bone snapped back into place and the wound sealed. The Necromancer and Thufir cried out in pain, harmonious in their agony.
Thufir passed out. Venex slumped over his body, but managed to stay awake. He put a tourniquette on his arm. That's two lives I've saved tonight, he thought. "Please, Phasys. Watch him." Phasys nodded in agreement and dragged Thufir to the bed, where he laid him down.
"Where's Johnny..." asked the Necromancer, standing up with the aid of a chair. "Johnny!"

The situation was horrible. Zubin was screaming in pain outside, but Venex told Phasys to stay and watch Venex and Thufir. Then Johnny came up the stairs, and it was obvious that there was trouble. Venex told Johnny to stay. Phasys bolted out of the room, and sailed out of the front window onto the shaman's back.
"Ahahaha!" Phasys yelled. He then took out a dagger, and viciously stabbed the Shaman's exposed neck.
As the shaman fell to the floor, Phasys could not help but smile to himself. He picked Zubin up and carried him into the house. Phasys dropped Zubin into bed to rest. Then he fell out of exhaustion too. Venex and Thufir both slept, as their bodies demanded more energy to heal after the long night.

Zubin tried to sleep hoping that in morning he would get someone to heal him. He offered Johnny some place next to him as he saved his life in one or the other way but the skeleton seemed to be inactive. Zubin had heavy pain but tried to sleep.

"Johnny!" he called again. The skeleton entered the room and urgently pointed out the window. Venex tried to move, but couldn't. The pain was too much. He saw Phasys run for the window and leap out. At last he was able to move, and he made his way to the window and looked out. Phasys was fighting a shaman. Zubin was on the ground.
The shaman shouted and croaked, Phasys' blade doing it's work. Good, thought the Necromancer. As that thought entered his mind, he heard Phasys shouting in victory. Minutes passed before Phasys came back into the room, pulling Zubin along aswell. All's well. He fell over, the pain of the Blood Magic too much now. All's well. And he slept.
Zubin decided that all his howling will make people wake up, although they were unconcious not asleep. Zubin went towards Phasys and lied next to him trying to sleep. At last he won over his pain and started snoring loudly. Maybe he was talking to somebody in a dream too.

Johnny stood there, motionless. The four men lay unconcious on the floor, the bed, a chair. How ridiculous, he thought to himself. He stirred, suddenly, and moved to the door. A smile spread across his face. "See you later," he said to his unconcious master. He hastened down the stairs and out the door...
"Whear be all the smart-alecy mages in this blimmin' toon" Thoradin asked, as he along with Sir Karl, Baeithra, Wulfgar and Heinrich began searching for someone, anyone who could tell them anything about the talisman.
After finding several dead ends, they were met by Sir Elric Sigmundson, Balgarath along his Iron Golem Vasallus, who all had enough of the sights and sounds that filled the taverns.
"I heard you all had a run in with an evil mage, I do wish I had been there, I would have liked to run my blade through his chest" Said Sir Elric "Such villiany deserves no less!"

"Great, metals from all o'er world, an' still no answers fer why this mage aes aenterested aen me" Thoradin said angrily.
"By Torm, no! This is terrible! This mage sounds like he is in need of a swift dose of righteousness!" Sir Elric exclaimed.

Overhearing the conversation between Sir Karl and the others, Carloseus quickly took a look at the talisman.
Where do I recognize that craft? he asked himself. He had not seen the specific talisman, but similar curves and the overall style of it he had seen before. He finally decided to rest himself decently, after two days of battle and one of celebration. He left to an inn, paid his room, and slowly wobbled up the stairs. The thought of rest allowed his body to relax, and now it wanted very much to get its rest. So much that he almost fell forward as he made his way. He reached his room, entered, closed and locked the door, walked over and collapsed in it, and stirred no more.
Phasys slowly awoke, regaining their senses after a long night. I hurt all over was Phasys' first thought. He rubbed his eyes and then a horrible thought came to him. The door wasn't secured! All signs of drowsiness left him, and he ran down to see that the door was swinging around on one hinge. The signs of the battle were still there. Blood and guts were strewed along the floor and walls. Something was missing, Phasys thought. The skeleton! Phasys bounded up the stairs, tumbling along on all fours in a mix of limbs.
"The skeleton is gone!"

The skeleton is gone... The thought passed by, floating. The skeleton is gone... It was no trouble. Wait... The skeleton was gone! Venex sat upright instantly, eyes wide. He flipped his head around, looking for Johnny. He was nowhere to be seen. The implications of that confused him, and he could find no other words...
"That's bad." He stood, examining the room. He could find no trace of the skeleton. Of course not, he thought to himself, magical skeletons don't leave traces. He noticed that Zubin was still in dire straits.
Venex nodded, as if agreeing to his own thoughts. "I'll go find a healer. Phasys, can you stay here and guard Thufir and Zubin. Maybe you guys can investigate the house. See if you find anything else strange about it. I'd love to know if there's any good reason for the security of the place."
He put his hand on the wall. Maybe it was to steady himself. Even he didn't know anymore. So much had happened, so much had changed. "Go," said Zubin. The Necromancer didn't need anymore encouragement and bolted down the stairs. He ran through the front door and out into the cold streets. He had to find a healer, and fast!
Phasys went to the job of repairing and fortyfying the front door. However, it was to no avail. the bottom hinge was completely torn off from last night's attack. Phasys scanned the room and an idea occured to him. He grabbed the bookshelf that had been dropped onto the demons the night before, and pushed it behind the door. Now I need something to reinforce it... The answer was too obvious. It was a house, there was furniture everywhere. Phasys move a couch and stacked things on it. The room was now completely barren, and the job was done.
Phasys once again gave the room a good look before venturing up the stairs. Just then something caught his eye. Under a coating of dust, there was an all too obvious trapdoor, which was previously covered up by the sofa. "Thufir, Zubin, wait for me just a second!" So Phasys walked forward and lifted up the trapdoor, wondering what he would find. It was a passage, actually, several passages. It was an underground tunnel system. He could not continue into the tunnels with Thufir and Zubin in the state that they were. Phasys closed the door, made a mental note, and went upstairs to protect Thufir and Zubin.

Venex ran up the streets as fast as he could. At long last he saw a group of people standing about, talking. The tall man from before stood there aswell, looking at something. Suddenly, he turned and left. He walked slowly as if he were totally devoid of energy. Venex wished he had time to thank the man, but ran to the group instead.
"Help me please!" he shouted. Now that he was closer, he could see that most of the people he recognized. There was Sir Karl, Balgarath, and Thoradin. With them was another man whom he did not recognize. No time for introductions, he thought.

When Venex came back with Lady Delana, Phasys brought them to the room where Zubin and Thufir were staying.
"They are both in a bad state. Please do what you can to make them live. You see, yesterday in the night, we were ambushed by a horde of demons. We killed them, but of course we have our... casualties." Phasys said while gesturing towards Zubin and Thufir with a pained look on his face. "Please, make sure they live. I have to go now."
Phasys went back down to the first floor and down into the trapdoor. Thufir and Zubin are safe, now I can see what these tunnels are for. Phasys made a torch out of a broken piece of wood. The light showed that the tunnels were new and undamaged. It was as if nothing had been here at all. Phasys ventured deeper into one of the tunnels. He cautiously stealthed forward when he saw a fire in the distance. There was no heat from where he was standing, so it was controlled. But what he saw next to the fire made him gasp. A group of fallens were there, with an arsenal of weapons stored on the tunnel walls. It turns out that this was a small attack force that was part of the raid on Dun Craig, but they were late. The tunnels were probably to go up into the house and easily take control of the fortifications of the house. Phasys' gasp had revealed his location, and the fallens looked up to see him. Their eyes locked for about a few seconds, when a fallen let out a large warcry. Oh shit. Phasys ran for his life, to the trapdoor.
"Help! A group of fallens are here!" Phasys yelled. He quickly moved a sofa on top of the trapdoor.
Boom! The blast shook the sofa, but it held. "Hurry, anyone, get down here, they're going to break through this trapdoor!"
