For anyone who's been trying out running various builds with just 10 APoC, mainly CMWW or meteor builds, you probably should know the extra AP returns we're getting is in fact a confirmed bug that will be hotfixed sometime soon. I know I mentioned using just 10 APoC as CMWW or SNS a couple times recently, but I'll go back to recommending 18-20 ApoC min due to the incoming fix.
I was wondering, why every guide says 20 APoC, when I was just fine with 9. No worries my barb is already geared enough.
Because in many (most?) cases 9 APoC is not enough. However, it obviously depends on your other stats. If you have a higher crit chance, maybe even close to cap of 75 which is easy to reach with the help of Deep Freeze/Pinpoint Barrier, you won't need as much APoC. It also depends on your APS to some extent. However, there has been a lot of theorycrafting and testing and so on (just look at all the contributions Loroese has made), and in many occasions you just run out of AP with one APoC piece. And if you run out of APoC, your performance significantly decreases. You can try this out using one of the CMWW simulators - and you might see a DPS increase by adding some more APoC, and also a better stunlock.
What about 16 APoC >.< damn you servers not being up at this time!
If you have very high CC then 16 might work alright. Otherwise, the build will still work with 16 but you'd probably see improvement against 1-2 targets up til 19-20.

Now I'm off to revert my CMWW gear back to 20 APoC.

I still hope I'll be able to cruise along as usual, I didn't play CM much pre1.07 so I can't say I can compare.

I ran 18 apoc before and after the 1.07 patch and didn't notice any difference.
