I am wondering if any Jade doc can share some insight about maintaining your composure during a full party play. My story is, I finally went into a full party T6 rift today and it was not as smooth as I thought.
Party members: EP monk, Jade, sentry DH, and frost EQ barb.
Although we did finish the rift in 6 mins, I am not sure I was contributing that much because I feel I had a lot of missed haunts, which does not happen when only grouping up with my IRL friend who uses EP monk and the screen is much cleaner. Essentially, I just cannot see the enemies clearly because there was just way too much excitement (frost, frost everywhere) and stuff flying around (Look, more CAs/multishots!), and I just completely lost my composure and started to randomly haunt/locust and harvest. I did specifically avoid firelight saders because I am pretty sure I will do almost 0 dps in that case, but I had not realized that sentry DH and frost EQ can be as bad for me to concentrate.
So I am wondering how I can improve my Jade play to be more efficient in a full party? I am aiming for that 4/5 mins mark.
When playing along with a good PP monk most of the time against normal mobs all you need is to focus on the marked mob, a single haunt + harvest clears the group after the push, you don't have to worry too much, any leftovers are dealt by the sustain dps'ers (in that case the DH/Barb).
You're there to melt down the elite packs/bosses anyway.
Look for the EP marker, Locust that, Haunt that, Harvest that, collect earnings
Thanks for the input. It is working great though things can still get ugly whenhordes ofmonsters cluster together after pull and it is hard for me to find the right click box. I wonder would you spend a little more time trying to find the mark or just spam a few haunts and hope for the best?
Currently,I just try my best to locate the palmed monster, and spam a few haunts and hope one of the "resentful spirits" find its way to the mark.
As for "collect earnings." I have to say that the frog is just golden in multiplayer. With much less concerns in survival, I can afford the luxury to use it to greatly increase the radius of GI and get all that gold after the carnage.
