so i saw in a play through demo awhile ago that the witch doctors spells can "empower" his zombie dogs to do extra damage, i know they've changed a lot of things, is this still the case or did they remove this option?
Short answer: No
Long answer: No. I think Force goes over this in one of his WD playthrough videos, the spells no longer affect the dogs. I'm assuming they did this due to the addition of rune effects.

My place really was here. I was too foolish and stubborn to notice. But, what I truly hoped for then was here. Why do I always realize it When I've already lost it.
Correct. Runes will now ause the effects that spells once did. Another reason they removed it was because it was to messy since casting all of your spells would cause them to switch back and forth between the two and making it hard to keep the one you wanted.

To prevent what Scyber said couldn't they just only allow the empowerment when you directly cast it on the dog (and make it that when you empower one, all the dogs become of that affix to prevent messyness or just OP)? I was actually interested in the elemental empowering of the Zdogs.

I agree with feminism. I don't think that it's right that for every dollar a man makes, a women gets 70 cents. Why do I only get 30 cents and some chick gets the rest?
