I have a question regarding the barbarian leap attack spell. Is it currently programmed such that when you land, those in an AoE get stunned upon impact? How about the charge (or whatever it is called)? Just wondering b/c I am currently working on some builds for him.
P.S. Want to make a shout out to the barbarian being the best class. The barbarian has the most D3 posts out of all the classes making it the best! WOOT!
lol i know right BARBARIAN PWNAGE...well actually i think ima get juggernaut spec first cuz look...then ima go to battlemaster cuz of hammer of the ancients on the barb vid it was doing so much damage lol but not all in battlemaster then ima spend in berseker but mostly juggernaut and battlemaster...and no leap does not stun in AoE thats ground stomp leap just leaps towards and does damage...and ur right it is best class because its also only diablo 2 char they bring back!!
I go battle master mostly and some fury with 1h and shield its gona pwn with charge.
charge is just like leap attack except you do damage to everything along the way, except maybe for the fact that you cant jump over certain things with charge...
Stun for leap not useful??? It does do AOE to give it a stun proc would be so over powered... but anyway my 2nd favorite skill on my zeal'r was charge (behind zeal of course) so I guess im more looking forward to that.
I just looked at some of the rune powers from that link
this is for whirlwind
# Striking - Larger radius of damage around the Barbarian
# Power - The whirlwind is so powerful as to suck nearby enemies into it
arent those kind of the same? what difference does it make if you get a greater range ,or suck enemies in, and if there is a difference, why not just choose suck them in?
the only difference I can see is, sucking them in might be better because it probably has a greater suck range then simply increasing your range.
but me thinks one should do something different. maybe deal more damage, but lower defense while attacking.
No, sucking someone inside the whirlwind will most likely receive damage until the whirlwind stops. It's not the same as the increased radius... It really changes the way that the skill works. And I can't see just how will you be able to suck unique bosses in the whirlwind but you can make a better use of the increased range when facing them.
