one thing il say for D2 is it started out a little faster, like 8 quick kills of fallen and bam your level 2
in D3 its almost more than twice as much as this, = not fun. but apparently the trip to level 60 is quicker over all, so thats kind of weird, strange exp curve.

Da fawk? Where did this come from... you can level pretty damn quick in D3. You can get to level 2 in... a minute? Cash in your quest in the inn boom level 2.

Playing Diablo since 97. I know nothing and having nothing good to say, I be a troll.
.The only thing D3 need to learn from D2 is itemisation. D2 itemisation is a thousant times better and D3 has alot to fix.
- Sets and Legendaries gotta have a huge buff and need some desing love.
- Nerf +damage mods on weapons please. An good +stat high roll shopuld give about the same dps as an good +dmg high roll.
- Rares should be rarer but should be better. Byt it's working the way it is.
- Using gold to craft and upgrade jewels sucks. I'm stuck with 300 of each jewel type without upgrading then because of the ridicolous gold cost =(
- Black Smith = Gamble with useless boring pointless steps (scraping for materials, no depth or fun in that). BS recipes should cost gold and gems only.

Remember, that in D2, sets and uniques were only normal items. We didn't get better set and unique items until LoD.
Aside from that, I'll say that I'm contemplating firing up D2 again to see how it holds up. I was on/off with D2. Played for ages then got bored of the infinite farming runs. That was made worse with ladder resets and lader-only items. Eventually I faded out completely. Tried going back again and managed to get an Enchantress into the teens (in an attempt to set up speed leveling since I had 2 comps with D2) before getting bored again. Not sure what 5+ years away would do. I've always wanted to get good Plague Zon, Spearazon, and Throw Barb builds through Hell.
What I miss from D2 that's lacking in D3 thus far is the character build potential. With Inferno being what it is, the number of spec possibilities is somewhat limited. I somewhat prefer D2's "build around a single talent or item" mentality.
That said, thus far I'm still having fun with D3. Time will tell if I will continue to enjoy it but for now, I enjoy it.

Patch 1.1 for class buff and balancing.
