This is a solo Barbarian build that focuses mainly on taking on multiple enemies at once and staying alive during the encounters. I haven't played the beta yet but I remember in Diablo 2 that there were mass amount of enemies around. This is build in theory hopefully works in being able to fight mass mobs and stay alive to collect the rewards.
The build I have chosen is a hybrid mix of survivability and damage, giving several combos to increase damage, and keeping HP,
and mana high. 1.Firebats-(hungry bats)-- will be my primary mana dump, dealing a large ammount of damage with Pierce of the Veil and Vermin
stacking 40% increased damage. 2.Locust Swarm-(Pestilence)-- This will be my opener, casting it twice to start spreading the swarm, this is also complemted
by the Viel Vermin combo. 3.Wall of Zombies-(Unrelenting Grip)-- A primary defensive tool, giving an extra slow at my disposal, to go along with Grasp of the Dead. I felt that the slows were
nessesary because I was playing a petless WD. It has already been mentioned that the world of DIablo 3 will be unforgiving and suprising, especially in Hell and
Inferno. With this tool, I can turn the fight into the playing field I want to play on, not getting surrounded by any ambush. Spirit walk through the zombie wall, to
get safe on the other side is a huge skill combo I am sure will save my life plenty of times. 4.Grasp of the Dead-(Death is LIfe)-- I chose grasp not for the damage, but mostly for the slow and the rune, giving an increase to health globes,
making Gruesome Feast incredibly strong, keeping a high uptime on the huge int % modifier, and refilling mana and hp as I quest. 5.Soul Harvest-(Siphon)-- Every 15 seconds, refreshing a 650 int buff ( with 5 targets around) and with rune healing for 20,000, permanent uptime
on the int buff as well. With the constant health globes with the Gruesome and Grasp combo, that gives 1000 int passive (giving health globe circumstances) 6.Spirit Walk-(Healing Journey)-- Mentioned before, the reason why I am picking this up is for survivability, 30% hp is pretty big when it comes to
the ammount of damage that we will see in hell and inferno.
Overall, my build gives an immense ammount of synergy and combinations. Playing a safe style, that can be easily played solo, or even in a group setting very well.
I cannot wait to experiment with it come Diablo 3 release, and look to expand the endless skill synergies the With Doctor has to offer.
This is probably gonna be one of my first builds mainly because with all the slow and chance procs, I should be able to take out large waves of monsters without to much worry about them coming at me. I am also curious to see how viable this might be on Hardcore mode, it'll depend on how effective the snares and slows are on heavy resist monsters.
It's a pve theme build for the Demon Hunter i named LolRockets. Mainly centers around the random rocket damage based runestones. Grenades with Tinkerer for the extra hatred generation. Caltrops with the improved slow if things get tricky.
The passives i chose are to mainly improve hatred generation and improve the rocket damage.
My build consists of up close and personal DPS, followed by ranged damage. Bash w/ Punish gives me the ability to increase my damage output with my next skills, depending on what skill I'd like to use afterwards, depends on the situation I'm in. Whirlwind w/ Volcanic Eruption allows me to deal massive damage plus the stacked Punish Runeskill on Bash. Threatening Shout is simple, reducing their attack when activated, but with the Runeskill Falter it also decreases enemies attack speed, so when their in my Barb's face, they're not doing that much damage to me. Weapon throw, my first ranged DPS skill for my Barb, I chose to equip it with the Mighty Throw Runeskill because I want Mighty Throw to purely dish out damage for ranged purposes. Ancient Spear is simple, a mob is too far away? Nah, let this loose and bring him right into your range, and equipped with the Grappling Hooks Runeskill bring back more than one mob on hit. Now last but not least, the Earthquake skill is another massive damage doer, I let this one go when I'm closed in by mobs, also equipped it with the Runeskill Chilling Earth to slow their movements so I could possibly back up and re-position, Ancient Spearing or using Whirlwind, depending what I feel like using. Now on to the passive abilities, now the first two passives benefits my skills in a huge way, like Brawler which increases my damage when there are more than three enemies within 8 yards of me, this is Diablo, there will always be more than three enemies within 8 yards. The passive No Escape benefits Ancient Spear and Weapon throw with resetting the cooldown of Ancient Spear when a successful critical hit happens, and returns fury when I nail a critical hit with Weapon Throw. Juggernaut is another very simple passive, it decreases the duration of impairing effects by 20% while also given a chance to have 15% of my maximum life returned to me when I'm Stunned, Feared, or Charmed.
I like this build because it caters to Close and Ranged dps and the passives I selected keeps me in battles and gives me additional added damage to my skills. For me this is simply an experimentation, this build might not be the permanent build I'd use for my Barbarian, because the game hasn't been released yet, so you never really know until you get in the game itself.
Here's the link to my build. http://us.battle.net/d3/en/calculator/monk#bcUhVg!gea!b.abca
I enjoy both pvp and pve and so I felt that it should contain a hint of both.
More importantly this builds reminds me of one of my favorite champions in LoL, and lets not forget chain lightning from WC3.
Detailed rundown:
The idea behind this build is to be somewhat support based while still providing as much benefit to dps as possible. Runes that provide health on hit, along side Breath of Heavens will do most of the healing grunt work. Cycole Strike, and Deadly Reach to do AoE, Lashing Tail Kick for bosses, Dashing Stike to keep mobility high for positioning.
Paired with a WW Barb with some Call of the Ancient focus
The main concept of this is that the barb can constantly gain life, then he will be extremely hard to kill. every skill selected grants either % life gain, or dodge.
Since this build does sacrifice damage, it is more of a Tank build over a DPS build (but I personally think thats the entire point of the barb anyway).
It would be best suited for hardcore mode, as it can start life gains at a very low level and has a higher survive-ability. Or for someone who just prefers to take things slower and not die.
(i wouldn't suggest this for PVP as the defensive skills are a bit weak for that, but PVE is easy with this)
This is going be my barb build. I will be playing with my two brothers who will be WD and Monk. Therefore it will be up to me to hold the monsters at bay and use my barb as a tank. I have all possible support options selected to help my brothers along on the quest to rid the world of evil.
My build for the Monk, to be played alongside Barbarian and Witch Doctor friends for PvE.
There's Deadly Reach for AoE spirit generation and Hundred Fists for single target. Lashing Tail Kick runed for the stun for utility and Seven Sided Strike just because I think it's the coolest ability in the game. Serenity and Mantra of Healing for some added survivability.
For passives: Resolve for more surivivability through damage-dealing, Fleet Footed for mobility and Exalted Soul so I can use LTK to stun things more often.
It will be used for PvE in mostly solo play. I chose this build because I wanted to run with skills that allowed me to destroy mobs of mindless zombies with my own mobs of mindless zombies. I keep Haunt in there because it is a great way to set up some Damage over Time and regen mana before I send forth my zombie legion.
For passives, I will hot swap Circle of Life in for Spiritual Attunement when I need the 4th dog.
I think this build will get enough life and mana regen to get me through to Inferno. It also keeps pets up to hold up mobs of enemies while I keep range and blow things up. I chose this style because I loved the Summoner Necromancer in Diablo 2 and wanted to pay him as much tribute as I was able.
This is a Monk Build I created for Hardcore. They are all attacks that are fast so when I play I can get the most out of my damage and still be able to be quick on my toes. I also Included ways to help stay alive including damage reducers and healing. I much rather stay alive in Hardcore and slowly make my way up alive then try to bash Diablo's head in and die...forever...
Seems like a good mix of defense and offense. Takes a lot of hit points
off the enemy but allows some mechanisms for escape. The defense also
can be used for crowd control.

This is my barb build.
it basically is a build that pulls all enemies close
to the barbarian and then unleashes large ammounts of aoe to
destroy them!!!!
The bard also has increased armor because of more mobs attacking him
than ususal.

Summary: Duo Build for a Monk/Barb Combo
Detailed rundown:

Cycole Strike, and Deadly Reach to do AoE, Lashing Tail Kick for bosses, Dashing Stike to keep mobility high for positioning.
Paired with a WW Barb with some Call of the Ancient focus
That is the link to my build.
I focused around using posins with a few pet type of spells.
This will be my first character, a Female Witch Doctor, I built this build for Hardcore and Softcore.
However, for hardcore I will probably use
Death Trance and remove Fetish Sycophants as my passives are concerned.
This build is all about closing down gaps, having good speed and avoiding slowing effects. Should be a good way in pvp to prevent being kited.
----
This build got it all
Rapid Fire to good singel target dps.
Chakram Razorz to AoE the shit out.
And Evasive Fire with Smoke Bomb to get the hell out of there
I base these skills on what iv seen on YouTube and the tooltip since i dont have beta :/
Good Luck all and may the best man/women win
Have a nice day!

I concentrated on AOE damage here. Can't wait to wade through packs of demons when the game comes out! Good luck everyone!
