That's three Admin slots filled, and three to go. If the turn out for the Admin slots keeps on going this go, I may not wait till all six are filled and go with the ones I have and "make an Admin" out of someone that is in the general registration (when it opens up).
Are you not getting enough applicants or are the applicants you are getting not meeting your expectations?

Quiet the contrary,
While the number of applications has been low (precieved to be bad, BUT not) the quality and caliber of each applicant has meet or exceeded my expectations for the role of Admin.
In fact, I would like to Welcome Sinister Demon to the Admin Group. He'll make a great addition and will, along with a few of the other Admins, open up future additions to the site making it broader and my content for you guys to use.
As of now I am going to hold off on more Admin applications, reserving the last two for promoting from the general registration group, which now that I have my admins, could be as little as a WEEK AWAY!
Keep watching the site for the annoucement, and what exaclty to do.

What exactly does DiabloExpressions mean? It just seems... off, and I don't really understand what the point behind the name is, and what it reflects. In my honest opinion, I wasn't sure if this was a site that was promoting the supposed "working emulator", a site that was for customizing characters (hence, expressions), a merchandise site or what. It just seems to be a fansite, and your name should reflect that. If I was browsing sites on Google, I think I would quickly identify a name like "diablofans", or even "diablo.incgamers" before "diabloexpressions" because it's a rather ambiguous and unfitting name.
Also, why didn't you install your CMS to the root of your site? I don't know, as a web designer/developer myself (and work for a promotional company, hence my nitpicking above), having the entire site sitting within a folder called "joomla16" reeks of unprofessionalism and is just bad practice. Not to mention, you may run into unnecessary complications if you ever want to use a subdomain while retaining convenient pathing. Roots are always easier to work with. I understand it's just a game site, but one you seem to want to be taken seriously. With the little experience I do have with Joomla, it shouldn't be too hard to set Joomla up again using the root of your site. Just remember to back your database up and make sure if you're using prefixes, that you define this in the setup. Because unless you're doing a manual install (which few do), the auto-installer will force you to recreate the database (unless in recent years they've implemented an "use existing database" feature /shrug). I would suggest doing this while the site is still rather dormant.

Well one thing going against making a name for a website for a popular game is that the options of names tends to dwindle as time goes on. The funny thing is it could have been called Diablo Sanctuary (a live site now) BUT the name was taken. While Diablofans and Incgamers sites respectively are clear cut for what they do, Information based content and tools for the game itself, Diablo Expressions is a place for us to give out:
Avatars made by us to help the forum communities EXPRESS them selves.
Avatars made by the community to EXPRESS their interest in the game.
Ventrilo Server to EXPRESS their opinions on the game and come together in a more intament way then just forums boards.
Contests based around the ideas above as well.
I have always said this site was never intended to replace or be in line with DFans or Ingamers site because they do a GREAT job already and making another one just splits the community, do more harm than good. With that in mind, why would I want a name that sounds similar to theirs?
So in the end I feel the name does great for its purpose..

Just my 8 cents.
This however I didn't notice for a while, and what to correct. I have to look into it and see if just making a back up and placing it in the root folder (Which is NOT the root folder of the server itself) will work or if there is another way. I have been worried of potential issues and thank you for your concerns about it.
Take a look at this: http://www.drichprod...ubdirectory.php
I'm not familiar with Joomla myself and I'm not sure if that is up to date, but it's about the same issue.
Think I found what I need, the one you showed is for 1.5, I'm on the up and up with 1.7.2. . . . . .. oOoOoOo, but as always thanks.
-If you had an avatar through the URL feature, it should still work because I rebuilt that section of the images folder exactly so the forum would point to that file still.
-Going to be adding a staff and about us page and the last of the site tweeks over the next two days.
-Got another page of Blizzcon '11 videos to add.
Long Live Diablo!

This will probably be the last shameless bump of this thread before General Registration is announced sometime next week.
Few things to point out though:
-PLEASE check your bookmarks to make sure it is "www.diabloexpressions.com" and NOT "www.diabloexpressions.com/joomla16/" fixed that per feedback and before things got hairy...
-If you had an avatar through the URL feature, it should still work because I rebuilt that section of the images folder exactly so the forum would point to that file still.
