If the skill was cool and very nice and easy to use, I would have fun joining a random game and just darting around like a complete idiot, just to piss people off.
Oh dear lord it will be just like WoW, where they show you in cinematics everyones organised on a raid and stuff. But in game it's just jump-jump-jump-jump and making the screen a screen of retarded rabbits in glowing armour.

"A lot of fellows nowadays have a B.A., M.D., or Ph.D. Unfortunately, they don't have a J.O.B."
In my rather humble opinion, giving each character a 'movement' skill would just clusterfuck the bastards.
clusterfuck ? I dont get it, how would a movement skill clusterfuck anything?
on another note, I dont care too much, just as long as im not running 2 hours to get to next location, like in D2 act 3, act 3 looked the best, but was poorest design.
You know this is one of the only complaint threads I found that are actually legit and bring up a good point. You just earned a rare reputation boost from me
I agree with you on this one. But I must say that even though teleport is the most dominant spell the game, its early use is very hard. If you remember, you get teleport in late act 2 or early act 3, depending on how you leveled. It was very hard to teleport around without losing mana and to use it later in the game demanded maxing warmth or insights. Blizzard did not expect fully geared gods with every item in the game to abuse teleport.
I also think you forgot that level 90s owned teleport to this extent as you're talking about. Level 90 Hammerdins were able to do 15k hammer damage and have teleport, so teleport is only dominating if you have a dominating character AND energy gain.
Also, a lot of fcr.
It was a hard spell to master, but if you master it, you kill everything.
