who cares about the history. The bottom line is that Blizzard owns, all of their games were amazing, and hellgate london and such sucked. Blizzard owns!
So, now that Blizzard has just announced the third game in a series that was created by, for all intensive purposes, a different company, how do you think the employees of the late "Blizzard North" are feeling right about now? I don't think anything serious will happen, such as any legal action, but how do you think they feel? I wonder if they'll play it...
Any legal action is impossible blizzard owns blizzard north and they quit so thereby blizzard owns diablo rights just clearin that up
What I meant was, it'd be hard (probably impossible) for Blizzard North to sue, since they essentially split up into 2+ other companies and no longer exist. Thus, they can't really claim any rights to Diablo.
Actually, Larry, 100% of the Blizzard North folks who worked on the original "Diablo":
max schaefer
eric sexton
kenneth williams
david brevik
erich schaefer
peter brevik
doron gartner
jon morin
robin van der wel
richard seis
ben haas
kelly johnson
matt uelmen
michio okamura
hugh tom byrne
patrick tougas
christopher root
mark sutherland
karin colenzo
don't work at Blizzard currently. That's "none" as opposed to "half".
A lot of them are in Flagship Studios, the company that made hellgate london
The game was a failure lol
we saw what a crappy game hellgate london is by the 8 former blizzard north devs, we also haven't seen any game from castaway so that just shows they won't necessarily make Diablo 3 a good game.
Today castaway entertainment doesen't even exist. They should have stayed at blizzard but thats when you get greedy.

Diablo 3 is graphically and artistically great, there needs to be variety in the game, instead of only plain and dark areas!
+Wouldn't it be better and more interesting if from a sunny beautiful day, mist starts covering the screen, rain starts falling, thunders and lightning striking and it starts to darken, instead of constant dark!?
Also the only guy I'd personally bring back is the lead designer of guild wars, who was one of the top guns in all blizzard games!

No, there isn't.
It's the decisions you make when you have no time to make them that define who you are.
Could have sworn their VP, Tom Chilton, the one currently in charge of D3, was involved in D2 somehow.
So, the way it is graphically ruins the game completely?
I'm sorry, and I don't care if I get an infraction on this, but some of you are whiny ass little bitches.
