    even if there was a warzone, there would still have to be the traditional diablo 2 pvp system, i love pking people and not getting pk'd by pkers.

    you NEED more options on your pole.. maybe the globes won't have a lead role anyways, there are still potions.

    There should be an i don't care option, because i don't care at all. Why is running to a health globe so much worse than pressing a number to drink a potion?

    Maybe none of the old characters are going to be back. If they are, they will have different names and different skills most likely. The paladin has a good chance however, because it is diverse with it's auras and holy spells. I think they will replace the sorceress/sorcerer with a mage, i think it fits in.

    When you get diablo 3, would you play Single Player (perhaps to get a deeper understanding of the story), LAN/battle.net with a few friends, or Battle.net with random people?

    I personally would choose to play LAN with a few good friends, to have more fun and not need to rush through like i might have to on battle.net.

    What about you guys?

    can somebody remind me when diablo's soulstone was actually destroyed? We never really SAW it destroyed, did we? It just said so in the cinematic.

    Some random boss monsters will definitely make a return, just so veteran players can remember them and be happy. I think Diablo himself might make a return. Maybe we will see Izual.

    id rather it be the old fashion diablo item backpack style, where each item took up a certain number of squares. It was a big part of the game just creating space for items lol. Oh well, it won't affect game play that much, i won't complain.

    hmmm.. I'd say witch doctor, seems like it takes more skill and micro than the barb, although it looks like blizzard made the barbarian much more diverse and non generic in diablo 3. The skills are cooler and not just multiple ways of swining a weapon ( like in d2 theres bash, concentrate, double swing, frenzy, etc. and are all just swinging a weapon.) I really like the dash-ish skill. Witch doctor looks fun though, zombie wall looks great. I can't wait to design a build that is centered around it lol.

    First of all, what happened to Tyrael at the end of LoD? he sacrificed himself to destroy the worldstone i think. So, maybe Tyrael is reborn and rises up from the comet. Just a thought anyways.

    I think the orange/yellow armor is because of the lighting.

    What do you see as special animations?

    i think whirlwind is pretty special, that charge skill is too. Leap is also "special".

    The head bitten off is definitely not a death animation that activates when the boss is nearby. thats absurd. That would take away from the boss' fighting time and just be dumb. It possibly could be a 1 hit KO move that takes a long time to get ready, thats why you should always be moving. It probably activates when you stand in the same place a long time. It would be cool of it was 1 hit though, adds to the difficulty and it would be fun seeing some super high level being killed instantly

    actually, i have played post 1.10., and on single player too. I find that if you know the right builds and know how to play, even single player hell mode is fairly easy. I feel that if you can take down a boss without dying a single time, it is too easy.

    I guess it's just because i have played diablo a long time and have a lot of experience with it.

    Maybe blizzard should add an option to choose the difficulty level even in normal mode, for example before you create a game on battlenet you can make the monsters a little bit harder. In diablo 2, the difficulty increased with more players, but there should be another customizable option for difficulty, besides normal/nightmare/hell.

    I think the bosses in diablo 3 will be hard enough though. In the video, the people had rigged stats and gear and 2of them still died from the boss. A barbarian got his head ripped off!

    haha, he called them premium items! i think you mean unique. The beige colored ones.

    class specific items own! they need to include them, or a section of the game would be missing. And that transferring thing you mentioned, it doesn't even make sense. So you're saying every item you find that is not class specific are items that you would use? If you are a barb and find some nice cloth armor, you probably wouldn't wear it, and you would have to get rid of it somehow. The same amount of trouble.

    Of course every class wouldnt be able to use everything, so there needs to be class specific items. I think the witch doctor masks are already class specific anyways. What would it look like if you saw a barbarian running around in one?

    Personally, i think diablo 3 needs to be MUCH harder than diablo 2. Diablo 2 was so easy, even in hell. Anybody seen a hammerdin? basically 1-2 hits everything and can tank anything.

    It sickens me to see the number of threads about things that are not even talked about or covered by the diablo staff, such as graphics and monsters being too easy.

    The game is in a very early stage, and is extremely prone to changes and tweaks of all sorts. In the gameplay video, you can tell that all the gear and skills of the characters are well beyond the normal level they would be at if they played through the game normally. It was simply to demonstrate the system, how things worked, and the physics and gameplay, not the difficulty. The zombie wall was also high level.
