I posted this as a poll hours ago, might show up later:O
In reading the suggestions thread I came across someone's idea of increasing the limit of players from 8 to 12. I'm not really into this. 8 players, I thought, worked very well in D2. To me 12 players would feel more like a crowd than a party, which to me in this type of game is not appealing, not to mention the increased lag.
i think that an mmo sorta thing would be better than games, like so you can go into the wild and you have to party before you go into there and whoever is in your party will be in your game, and i think that the max should be 10, i think it's a good # and if d3 introduces 3 new classes that will be perfect, one for each role and such
so you mean like Guild Wars? The mmo town but 8 person quests and stuff
I thought that was really nice to have... made it seem a lot like a town that you traveled to and then when you left you where with your party again on your own adventure...

they aint gonna make the game like d2 AT ALL
and have 8 people per game, it will be in a server then prossibly have sub servers for doing a raid such as Diablo or to do Baal or w/e
Ex Server Diablo
Sub server: Kill diablo
: Kill Lilith
kinda like a bunch of people who want to do them get together and fight him.
You obviously don't know much about Blizzard. Staying true to their franchises has always been important.
What he is trying to say is. Diablo2 was made in 2001. A LOT and i mean A LOT has changed in technology in the gaming world. It will not be the same, if you know what I mean by that.

98% of the teenage population does or has tried smoking pot. If you're one of the 2% who hasn't, copy & paste this in your signature.
No, he was not talking about technology, he was talking about them trying to pass diablo 3 off as a MMO. THat is not out of the possibility, but they would be clear from the start.
In a recent interview the VP of Blizzard told them one of their primary focuses/challenges in expanding their franchises is to expand the gameplay/storyline while keeping the familiarity with the earlier games. This is while when people talk about them making Diablo 3 with a completely different graphics style and/or completely different game mechanics, well... it's not going to happen.
A MMO might take place in the Diablo universe, but it won't be called diablo III.

i agree with him he say a lot has changed and i know there is someone who will prove me wrong but and this day and age hardly any games come out in 2d that is why i think it will be 3d but hopefully not gay like wow keep the dark deathy feel to it if you ask me.

How many would you like to be allowed in a game?
