I really want Diablo 3 to have a better Single Player than the one Diablo 2 had, but still have a Battle.net as good as Diablo 2.
And I really want to have larger variety of items and unqiues and runewords since running around with the same equipment that everyone else has is kind of stupid.

Federer lost Wimbledon. Why? Becase none of you bastards cheered for him...
I want it to be Pay-to-Play and set up on servers like WoW. It keeps most of the cheating out.

Well, I could even talk seriously and personally about sex without saying something akin to, "My girlfriend and I have had sexual intercourse not once, not twice, but thrice. During these times I had inserted my penis in and out of her vagina and ejaculated accordingly. I gently sobbed afterwards while she held me in her arms. This has all brought us closer together."
Pay-to-Play seems more conducive to the fat geek-a-nerd type that I don't like playing with. Those people can have World of Warcraft. I don't mind the inconveniences that come with D2 being free. It's all worth it to me.
lol...How does Pay-to-Play bring more "geek-a-nerds"? It has nothing to do with the fact its Pay-to-Play, its because its WoW...and "geek-a-nerds" play every game believe it or not.

1) Male and female genders for each Classes (Male Pally/Female Pally, etc...)
2) More item variation for armour/weapons types at level range (Scimitar/Saber/Saif/etc...)
3) Horadric Cube or any other recipe making/item assembling features
4) More advance quest system (Retrieve Item X for Person A or Give Item X to Person B to complete Quest C, only one choice can be made with different rewards and consequences, etc..)
5) Cain (so that I am able to kick his butt :D)
I don't know, this may have been mentioned, but it's a GUI issue that I get with Diablo a lot.
This concerns cyclical spells such as Burst of Speed, Bone Armor, Werewolf/Werebear etc. These kinds of spells are something I prefer to have on my 24/7, especially Burst of Speed (Bone Armor depletes too rapidly). I often get annoyed when Burst of Speed ends, and I soon realize that my character is slow as a turtle. Then I have to cast it again.
Several things can be done to correct this a bit:
- first of all, I think there needs to be some kind of magical sound effect thing to notify the player that a spell effect has been lifted. Nox, DnD games use this for some of their spells. In Diablo II, if Burst of Speed ends, I get no clue, and the visual special effect is pretty unnoticeable in the heat of battle.
1. Create an option to set a certain spell to a recast - so that it casts itself after its duration ends. Sort of like in WarCraft 3. The problem here is that it may often interfere with other actions at the wrong moment. But, I still think this option should be available anyway.
2. Reconfigure such spells on a continual mana drain - so that they drain mana over time, like auras.
Recasting Werewolf and Wearbear is especially annoying - the druid itself is often pretty useless compared to his animal form.
I Want To See The Addition Of More Hidden Treasure Chests/area's That Are Heavily Guarded By Mini Boss's. ( Some Should Be Near Impossible To Get But With One Of A Kind, Unique Rewards ) They Should Be Extremely Hard To Find With Some Kind Of Unlocking Puzzle Or Sequence To Open The Area. Some Should Even Have Past Reference Like Drawings On The Wall Of The Butcher And Pictures Of Valor On A Valiant Striking Hero Battling The Hordes Of Hell. More Items And More Sets! Gonna Be Hard To Balance But Worth It. (i Hope To Not See Most People With The Same Setup Like In D2)
I Would Like To See Items That Only Come In Pairs Or Single Unique Items With Significantly Different Names That No One Else Could Posses. (imagine Owning The Only Known Shield That Deflects All Magic Attacks, Or The Only Known Sword That Glows White Around Demons Or Something.
One thing i would like to see in Diablo 3, is to make the game more graphical and less numerical. Why does the frostbolt of level 99 sorc deal so much more than that of a lvl 1 sorc. The bolts look exactly the same, there are just some arbitrary numbers in the backround calculating. I'd like to see a way to visually notice how powerful something is, so if you see a character or ability, you'll know how powerful they are, without needing to look at their character level.
Yeha, I really like that idea. They kind of did that in Xmen Legends where the final version of the skill had a little extra graphic or something. But then they ditched that idea when they made Xmen Legends II. What the hell, man?
Yeah, i think one way to accomplish this is to make each skill very individual, with a lower skill cap, like firebolt-rank one is a standard firebolt, then at rank 5 it becomes a fireball, then at rank 10, it becomes a giant fireball that creates an X of firewalls when it explodes

Yeah I agree with that stuff. One other thing that was weird with Diablo 2 was the fact you could only use like 2 skills convieniantly.... I guess that's mentioned already somewhere in here.
I find interface and controls a pretty important thing for most games. Having a convieniant, advanced, and even intuitive (for new users) interface is pretty important.
I don't mind if it was just 5... I just think there should be more than 2, so that it's more accessible to people if they do use 3-4 skills (diablo 3 could have more skills, in which it's more viable to use 3-4, or more)
With the exception of very few people, everyone endorses you on your travels. Where are the hordes of brainwashed fanatics following the demons without knowing what their masters really intend, let alone them not knowing that their leaders are demons? All you had was the Archbishop, King Leoric and Nihlathak, in the books there were hundereds and thousands of tainted humans trying to destroy the heroes. People who appear to be your allies for a long time before you discover their true nature and creatures that give you optional quests to find that they are actually supportive of ridding the Sanctuary of evil.
There was Nihlathak (spell check?) Not much of an example, though...
On Equinox's note: Perhaps you could have some kind of ritual that you can perform as a Druid, like a side quest, and it could make the user take on a permanent form of the "were" form. It would be a kind of trade off, but it would have more meaning when you do it. Especially if it had more of a role-playing element to it.
And my God, for the love of Christ, please let the Druids be able to be more of a casting character if you want to go that way with them! Man, that ticked me off. A lot of them were really cool casting spells, except that you had to be in a large swarm and in the thick of battle for them to be used properly. I'm sure not all the Druids in Scosglen were up-front casters and meleers- there had to be shamans or something, right?

What's respeccing???

That's re-speccing, Equinox.
