Do you think Blizzard will implement a guild system for Diablo III?
Would you want one?
Personally, I'd love a guild system. My guild is switching over to this game when it comes out, and without a guild system it would be quite difficult to keep the guild organized.
You should consider converting your guild into ours SICK or Silver's Inferno Crusading Knights have established and organized our guild mates without the use of a guild/clan tag for Diablo and other game series.

Ah. Well even if they don't add a guild system, I doubt we would resort to tags.
They might and if they do it will be a very good idea, because it will bring a sense of unity in the game that made which was a signature characteristic in WOW. This can really suck if they keep the same system has Diablo 2 on battle net, with only 8 players in one little server.

I like the life I lived, because I went from negative to positive.
You know very well who you are, don't let them hold you down, reach for the stars.
Well if you consider joining. Look up related threads in the (SICK)Clan Forum in the message board. We have always implemented "SICK" or "xSICKx" before accounts and character names.

They should add it. I'm tired of seeing stupid names with what ever stupid guild tags in front. Also whispering to these people has been pain in the arse.
With guiild system you could have normal account *akse and normal character name like Thyras or something. Then the guild tag will be formed somewhere and be visible. Would be nice if u check a description of a player there should be a button to check that guilds desc.
Also some kind of guild ladders would be nice..
This system would enable lots of different things.. most important of them would be the easy forming and using of the guild.
how it will ease the gameplay? how, i cant find the answer. i cant see any points by adding guild systems. as i said, its ok to form teams, but if talking about guilds, so there should be something like a war between guilds?no? yes! i am right, so, its enough to write those tags before nickname (its up to you to choose whether to tag yourself or no)
definetely NO to guild system.
there were already a friend list, you can whisper to all your mates in friend list!!! ...

You haven't said anything about how it can HURT the game. You've only stated your disgust. Again, if it does not harm the game, why not implement it?
If they do implement such a system, I would rather it sticks to how people used to refer to it, clans, rather than guilds. Do they still use the term clans in D2? Or has it switched over to guilds?

Diablo- The first game i ever played for the PC in 1997. Diablo 2- The first online game i ever played in 2001.
There are so many things to consider that we just dont know that relate to guilds and the reason for them.
I am assuming the game world is going to be player created instances with a max # of players as in D1 and 2. Will there be areas for pvp or special zones with pvm objectives that a larger group could go to? I dont really see any indication this will exist. I dont see any content that merits anything beyond an enhanced social UI that allows for chatting between servers/games.
We could be suprised though.

Dear God,
Please protect me from your followers.
Amen.
It's not needed when the max amount of players in the game will be between 5-8 players. (I don't think they've announced max party size).
What is the purpose of a guild then? This is not a MMO player type game.
You, and your guild mates are going to go on a raid in Act 2 with 3 or 4 players? Huh?
Did I miss something?
I understand what you are saying but that doesn't justify not having a guild. If a guild wants to go raid Act 2, a guild communication system will only help them in that aspect.
You are completely missing out on PvP as well. We don't know how the devs are going to go about it yet, but if someone wants to have "clan battles", they should beable to. I still haven't heard anything that says why it will damage the gameplay or hurt other players. Will I join a guild? Probably not but there is no reason not to implement it.
It was funny for awhile that clan members used to put the clan in their name cause there were no guild tags lol. Hope they fix that in Diablo III

Even better if it provides more customization to your character.

To find the truth, you must risk everything.

RIP: Demon Hunter: lvl 50 | Barb: lvl 60 (plvl 5) | Monk: lvl12 & lvl70 (plvl 200)
It would ease gameplay between friends.
Just because you don't want to be in a guild, why prevent others from being in one?
Guild chat.
Guild list.
That's it. Why not implement it?

I'm so out of touch with D2 that I forgot guild was once referred to as clans.. damn WoW for brainwashing me.
With that aside, my vote is Yes. Any community support is a good thing.
