Like alot of us I'm sure I've been pouring over the "as yet" un revealed skills that came from Judgehype and thought I would through up some of the links that have helped me get a better visual of what to expect from a couple of the new DH skills.
So I may be alone in not knowing what to visualize when I read the words, but in case others are in the same boat, here ya go:
Caltrop
So this looks like somthing the DH might throw out as a trap where a bunch of these tiny things expload out and maybe slow down the targets? Or if it isn't a trap, the DH might just throw a handfull of these that do direct damage in a small area of effect.
Chakram
So I can't help but think of Zena's throwing loop, which I suppose is exactly what this is. The discription on this wiki link says it is desinged to be used either as a throwing weapon or up close while being held. I'm guessing that the skill we saw in the BRoll video of the criss-crossing loop attack that the DH used was this ability. Looks fun!
**Edit** So that is exactly what Zena used, hehe, it even says it at the bottom of that wiki I linked. I can see it now "What Spec is your DH?".. "Oh, I play the Zena Build".
Would be cooler if you could rune the chakram to work likes Xenas in corridors like bouncing off of people/walls etc.
I was thinking of somthing similar, the rune effects on this one could be really awesome!
I think many of the skills we saw in the broll were runed. I feel what we saw of chakram was a multishot kinda thing.
If they make a Xena-type rune for it, the DH should say "Ie Ie Ie Ie Ie!" when she throws it :-P
Which one of the new skills do you guys think that "blue" short ranged ability in the BRoll footage is? I was thinking maybe Hungering Arrow or Rapid Fire, but can't really tell. Could be a Rune Effect as well.
**EDIT** Actually I just watched it again and listend to the sound effect of it closer, I bet its Rapid Fire.
I think Rapid Fire would be the blue arrows that the DH fires in the Broll footage. I think Hungering Arrow is the dark orange skill that if it kills the enemy you shot it at it will home in on the next enemy and hit it.
I am going to have to say Impale or maybe Marked for Death(tho I think this one is a buff, or actually a debuff. But who knows the skill might be runed to be like this.).
Caltrop runes are actually pretty easy to think of for me anyways... I could be wrong but....
One will probably increase damage
one will probably make it have a hefty slow or possibly a chance to stun
One will be just directly throwing them into enemies - possibly aoe
One will increase duration and reduce cost
And then one will do something REALLY erratic...
Like maybe:
Shock Caltrop - Places only one caltrop in stead of multiples, but this one fires lightning at nearby enemies(ya it's like the assassin lightning trap, but no biggie)
I think you can see Marked for Death @ 6:17 in the Broll Vid, that little red mark over the skeleton. Its probably a debuff that increases the dmg/attackspeed or something like that.
Woah, Nice eye. I watched the video a few times myself looking for skills that were new(or new rune versions), and I never caught that, I just thought that the monster buffed itself, but looking at it now I can definitely see it, especially since the mark appears with a unique sound and the Demon Hunter makes a subtle shift(from our point of view at least) as it appears.
As for Shadow Power... maybe it is a buff like Wrath of the Berserker or Archon Form? If they can't make it unique compare to those two skills then I hope not.

Nice Catch on the Marked for Death! Totally missed it.
As for the Companion, you are likely right, it does look like a raven. Soo many questions about it:
As you level (and it scales) does it just get more powerfull, or do you get more Ravens?
What kind of awesome Rune effects might be in the summon skills?
Will it be like the Druid Raven and be un-targetable?

Caltrop (or Iron Thorn Caltrops) is a lvl 1 Active Skill wherein the Demon Hunter throws like a bunch of Iron Thorns on the ground. It might explode like you said (if runed right), but it will most likely give x damage & x percent time slow.
Chakram
So I can't help but think of Zena's throwing loop, which I suppose is exactly what this is. The description on this wiki link says it is designed to be used either as a throwing weapon or up close while being held. I'm guessing that the skill we saw in the BRoll video of the criss-crossing loop attack that the DH used was this ability. Looks fun!
Chakram is a lvl 9 Active Skill wherein the Demon Hunter throws like a big shiny 4 tipped Shuriken. We could assume that the skill is runed to be able to do that criss-crossing loop attack in the B-Roll video. As in the video, this skill deals a lot of damage that brought the demon down.
caltrop, I imagine is a low level trap that just injures monsters when they walk on it.
I think out of that whole list, it is the companion skill that interests me the most for the
Companion is a lvl 16 Active Skill that summons what looks like a Might act like the Necro's Golem (looks like a shadowy raven; hope it turns into a phoenix or one with an Ice Freeze or Lightning damage with the right type of rune). --> If similar to a Golem, to divert the monters attention while attacking at a distance.
I am not sure what you are talking about when you say 'tracer', but at 6:16 I see two orange skills. A dark one that if it kills an enemy it homes onto the next enemy, I believe this is Hungering Shot. As for the bright one(The one that comes with a loud bang), I believe it is Impale, but we don't know for sure.
What is that shot that she does multiple times where the tracer looks red/orange? eg. @6:16 or a better example @5:31. I dont mean the shot that is likely Hungering Shot (where the projectile looks orange and the tracer is still grey). Could that be Impale?
I see what you mean. According to the leaked image from a Chinese website, that skill is a lvl 8 skill called Marked for Death. As the name implies, the tracer thingy leaves a death imprint. Most likely, the monster wont be able to avoid the critical hit or major damage from the shot punctuated by the loud bang.
If you pause the B-Roll video at any of those two given time stamps, you will see the image on top of the target to be identical to that on the MFD skill from the leaked image.

Its a chinese site with Tool Tip Photos of all the skills. Nice. No discriptions though.
I'm curious what runes could do to caltrops, really.

My PvP build would be different from these 13.
