so i just saw the new pics of the gargantuan... i REALLY hope they reduce his size.. yes i know he's supposed to be huge considering his name. i know this, but really he's 3 times the witchdoctors height AND width? he takes up WAYYY too much of the screen. everyone knows the character size has been increased since D2. in D2 the char's and minions were much smaller on the screen. with him and the zombie dogs it will create a lot of clutter and especially if you have more then 1 witch doctor in a game with him...
Could always get a bigger monitor
Just kidding, but yeah the size is a little over the top perhaps just a minor adjustment is in order. But not to much otherwise he won't really be a gargantuan.
Edit: Playing witch doctor without a doubt as first character. Dying to play him.

thanks for your reply. yes I'm definitely playing him first also, loved the necro in D2 and the necro pales in comparison to the WD. able to have decent spells AND summons sounds too good to pass up. even spent hours making the best build i could possibly come up with. I'm glad they changed all spells to be % of weapon damage, so that your constantly striving for the best weapon. not the most "x to skills" considering there are no skill points lol.
Yeah me to spent a few hours on the skill calculator. Still haven't come up with something that's completely solid, but have many ideas and a direction to head in.
Haha yeah, I do like the new % weapon damage system instead of skills to. After all it saves you having to get all the + skill gear and that's all you get because its + skills and is the best for that reason. Where as now it's all % weapon damage as you said, and each item can have several random properties. The customization is nuts in Diablo 3, can't wait.

ya it is, its silly when people say "omg theres no customization in D3". its like they read NOTHING about the game... lolol. i think it will be real nice because in the fact that everything is weapon based, you basically will be saving up gold to buy/make a real great weapon and not have to sit there and worry about getting 15 pieces of gear to be really good. and when you find a real epic weapon for ANY character it'll make leveling up that other character real easy if he starts out with a real epic weapon, granted the level requirement isn't too high haha. if you saw "force's" play through he had gear in his bank and it made him a lot better BUT that was BEFORE the % weapon damage changes to the skills, so his play throughs would of been soooo much easier for him if it was after the update, would of been one shooting everything lol
his damage was like around 5-10 or so on a lot of chars average in the beginning. and you can get a weapon with like 15-20 dmg that only requires lvl 1-5. and when skills do like 130% + weapon damage he would of been doing like triple the amount of damage he was doing.
Lol, I know what ya mean. A lot of that "No customization" which is kind of a ridiculous remark to make considering we have seen like and in comparison to, the den of evil in diablo 2.
That's also another new thing implemented, the shared stash. I don't know how many times I went to Xfer items in diablo 2 to a brand new character and forgot about the 5 minutes required for a game to stay open, and lost items :(. But yeah that's just one of the new implementations that has got me thinking that this game will just be incredible.
I did happen to see a few of force's play through, they're pretty sick. The WD one where he was like "Squeeky voice" omg look at my mana regeneration with that orb or w/e it was that he had, LOL.

hahaha ya i remember that one, but his mana was regening at an INSANE rate where he could literally spam spells with never running out, i probably would of squeaky voiced too lol. just so excited, sadly ill have to play TL2 and POE till it comes out, just hope those games come out in the next month.. so sick of playing wow... lol

Yeah, I went back to WoW to. Because no good having a decent PC and nothing to play, when you feel like a few hours of fun. I would have preferred not to go back thought, It gets really boring after a while lol.
I might even try Torchlight, seen it played but have never played it myself. Just anything to pass those months fast so I can get my hands on some D3 action

Ya torchlight 1 was bleh but the second one will be online and with more classes and much better gameplay. And POE - path of exile . Com is basically a d3 rip off trying to copy it and fails BUT it will do as a good sub until d3 is released. Because both TL2 and POE are inspired entirely by diablo
