Anyway if the Germans had won this match, it would have been really unfair coz they played like shit. Even with no pressure from Spanish players, they kept giving the ball away. Uruguay will own them bad if they play like that.
So yeah. That's the only way that Germany could have played against a team like Spain. They're Barcelona of the international football scene. And how was Barcelona shut down? By defensive play like that of Chelsea and Inter. I think the Dutch have a better chance to offset Spain than Germany, so it will be a sweet final, especially since if either side wins, it'd be their first WC.
lol pedro thought he was someone special for a second there, but those germans ended that.
that game could have easily gone to pks with the way both teams were playing. when two great teams are playing, it often comes to who has the better set pieces. today was spains day.

The only reason why Pedro did that was because he wanted a sure spot in the line up for the final game. He knew if Torres scored it, that he would start, so he didn't pass the ball. Only now that he did this major fuck up, Torres is more than likely going to start. Lol@pulling him off almost right after he did that horrendous mistake.
Holland-Spain? Wow that's just messed up. I'm going for Holland since I love their style of play and I believe they can be the only team that can puncture Spain's defense.
It will happen, I'm telling you. If Holland has the mental toughness to beat Brazil (mental, not physical), they can stand up to Germany or Spain. I don't know anymore actually if Spain will lose to Germany. It will be a pretty epic game.
The only team that beat Brazil in that game was Brazil. If they didn't fucking quit and have that "we're off to the Semis!" attitude, they would have mauled Holland.
Perhaps. Or perhaps not. Holland has proved time after time that they can stand up to pressure. Beating Uruguay might have been easy looking at it on paper, but Uruguay was a very good team that unfortunately depended on one single player. Holland and Spain are both new to the finals, so no one has the mental advantage. I'm prepared to see a 0-0 draw to PKs, or see a 5-0 blow out from either side. It'll be interesting.
Dude, the only football you watch is the World Cup, and don't tell me no. The Brazilian team was far more superior. The first goal that Holland scored was an own goal. This is coming from a guy who worships Wesley. FIFA gave it to him, but it was a flop and an own goal by Melo. Then the Brazilians crumbled and ended themselves. The amount of sitters the Dutch received and didn't score on ANY one of them speaks fucking volumes, can't you see that? A blow out would be impossible. It will be a close game, but I see Spain winning it. I wouldn't be surprised if Holland were to win because they're gonna do a better job against Spain than Germany did, but odds are in Spain's favor. Killer defense, the best midfield in the world, and if Torres is even 75%, they would murder the Dutch.
PKs are up to chance. Baggio, arguably the best PK shooter fucked up, you can't trust PKs and put your money on a specific team, brah. ALONSO missed one, for cryin' out loud.
I personally think that PKs are the most stressful event in any sport. Last minute free-throws aren't even close and so are that hockey thing where they go one on one against the keeper.
Get real, folks, the diablo you all knew is dead, a few years ago i said right here in this forum that D3 had a pretty good chance of being blizzard first bust (i was flamed to death ofc), and what you know, its not even beta and its already looking that way.
Yeah, Muslera had a bad game. I think he was a bit down for the 3 goals that Holand scored, but those were impossibe to stop for him, the 3 of them hitting the post before going in.
Forlan's goal was amazing. And the last kick hitting the post was bordeline cruel.
I like how the never gave up, they played until the last second and Suares managed to draw a (doubtful) foul on him that could've tied the game. They also almost tied against Holland too, even when we were down by 2 goals.
He predicted a Spanish win.

forlan played amazing again and its sad that this is probably the last time we can see him in the world stage. if it wasnt for your average keeper...
also luis getting booed was kinda disgraceful. fcking africans. ghana deserved to lose that game...

Its easy to be a top scorer when you have iniesta + xavi or ozil + schweinsteiger playing with you.
But fifa will probably pick someone from the winning team.. another BS, like giovani being nominated for the revelation/young player award.
