I'm just wondering. The way I see it, there'd be no point to having more than one DH, or more than one WD, etc, etc....
In D2, you could have a couple of each class that did something different. An example would be having three different Paladins be a Hammerdin, a Zealdin, and an Auradin.
In D3, you merely change your skills over. Maybe switch weapons if its needed.
I guess this is a love/hate situation for me. On one hand, it makes everything easier. On the other hand I won't have the need to replay the game as much :-/.
Don't get me wrong, I'll be going through broken keyboards for months trying to get through inferno. But, since the characters aren't really customized from what I've seen, there's not really a point in having more than five characters (10 if HC).
Idk i plan to have at least 3-4 DH, 1 for online play with my friends, 1 for my complete solo play and 1-2 for Hardcore solo/grouping. There's no real point outside wanting to play the same class in different ways, since Wizards and Barbs absolutly don't interest me, i'd have free slots anyway and i always tend to try to focus on trying to master 1 class.
I have a feeling I'll be getting my money's worth out of this game from just one character. Eventually I'll be playing one of each, but in any game I really don't feel the need to have more than 1 of a particular class
No reason to make two of the same class just because you want to play them differently. There is no long term commitment how you build the character since you can swap skills and gear freely. Maybe if you feel like playing the opposite gender one day, you could justify it.
Personally, im planning 1 hardcore and 1 regular of each class, each different gender. I probably won't even bother playing a class on hardcore until I've maxed it on regular though, so it will be a while before all ten slots are used.

Thinking of 1 HC and 1 regular of each class as well...Male regular...Female HC..why? because who doesn't like HC females ...
I kinda feel that achievement is broken... The game tiself gives you no reason to replay a class and blizz aded that achievement as the reason to replay. Imo this achive is the small list of big D3 flaws (cause the game is great omfg).
Gladly i will be playing HC, so a SC and HC version of each class is the "natural" approach. But for people who dislikes HC and likes achivements (those whos planing on doing 1 class HC and other 9 SC) this trophyis plain simple a pain in this ass.
I think lvl60 class is would be the natural and fun approach.

every single game I've ever played had at least one achievement that required me to do something I didn't like...this is normal

Anyone else feel slightly saddened by this?
Just ignore my 3 rogues in WoW. >.>

This is correct.
