I just finished normal last night and watched the cinematic. It looked to me like the black soulstone survived. Is that the
hook for the expansion story?
Blizzards greed made Diablo III a failure in my eyes.
I've said it long time ago, that AH will make this game boring and that it will make me quit it very soon... And I was right.
Instead of slowly progressing through the content, because I'm being limited by the gear available - all I've done was buying stuff on AH and voila... Game is easy again. I've stopped farming equipment - I've started farming gold to buy stuff on AH. /fail
So, I'm half way through Inferno with some of the gear better than legendaries and I have very little incentive or motivation to play more.
I'm very disappointed.
So you don't like the feature, but you are still using it even though you knew full well it would ruin your gaming experience?

No reason to make two of the same class just because you want to play them differently. There is no long term commitment how you build the character since you can swap skills and gear freely. Maybe if you feel like playing the opposite gender one day, you could justify it.
Personally, im planning 1 hardcore and 1 regular of each class, each different gender. I probably won't even bother playing a class on hardcore until I've maxed it on regular though, so it will be a while before all ten slots are used.

Getting past skeleton king into the fields of misery (correct name?) and getting charged in the face by those big beasts. Took me by surprise and earned me my first and only death so far.
I got past the SK before I had to go to work. I was looking at the tree that was attacking my WD, wondering what those things that
dropped on the ground were, and was trying to target them...poison from them earned me a death...to tired and mezmerized by the new content to pop a potion
Hahaha I didn't even see those things. I was like "WTF killed me?"
They looked like pumpkins to me, like the green ones you could smash in the earlier areas..I thought I wasn't targeting right..I think
Blizz did that on purpose to see how many peeps they could kill trying to smash unsmashable veggies... Some Blizz employee probably got an achievement off of that death
Suffering at work right now...got up at 3:00am EST....my original plan was to get up at 4:45. I wish I would have stuck
with original plan as that was around the time I could log in/start game. Got WD thru SK and 1st lady boss in goat land,
then had to go to work. I was torn between full explore or get to SK before work... when I got to the place where it's one
of the 3 crypts that lead you to the next quest area, I figured if I picked the right one, I'd go to SK and the hell with the other
2 crypts. I picked the one on the far right (the 3rd door in my mind) because it seems like it was always the last one the first
time through. Sure enough it was, so SK it was. I was glad to actually get a peek at new content before coming to work.
I at least wanted to make a good start, so this evening I'd have a lot of time in post-beta content.
I was amazed at the detail of the boss lady ( name starts with an M?) in the starter goatmen area. I zoomed in to get a better view... also the artwork in the CE art book is phenomenal. Best CE artbook yet from Blizz

My CE from best buy just got delivered to my house by UPS ( I guess no one told UPS that it's not may 15th). Gonna crack it open after work..so no standing in line pic from me!
