Ok, this is not some some sort of enemy balance discussion, basically what they are/look like. Well what I basically mean, is what I saw from Diablo 2, the first few Acts, there were not many demons
"[If you count out the countless imps which must be counted but may be counted but cannot be counted]"
But more undead/ghost/skeletons. And then they were replaced by those overwhelming amounts of demons and dinosaur looking fellows. Anyone else think it's going to be the same case with Diablo 3?
== WHAT HAPPENED IN BETA SPOILERRRR=
From beta, that's what I saw so far, but IDK about act II. And if so, any idea why? Maybe because the player(s) get closer and closer to Diablo and his "friends"?
There is a big repository of enemy models currently linked in the most recent news post if you're wondering about the variety of monsters in D3. If you don't want to look at it because of spoilers, I can personally guarantee that you will see a very wide variety of baddies to cleave in half. Everything from demons to angels to zombies and skeletons - even demon steeds! And I must say, the boss models look fantastic!
