The Shaman WoW pet looks awesome so hopefully I can make a little bit of money back selling it on eBay, that is if it's a code and not tied to your account.

The question isn't why do I kill. The question is, why I don't kill everybody.
I'll be picking it up for sure and suspect it'll be near the $100 price range. The hours of entertainment that I'll get from the game will be pennies per hour in light of the cost.

I suspect it's tied to the account you put the Collector's Edition on.
I thought there was no way I would do anything but a straight digital download, but actually now I'm reconsidering. $100 compared to $60... Yea it's a 66% increase, but since I was expecting CE to be $125ish, it seems not horrible to me. We'll see...
Only thing I would be interested in would be the artbook and the in-game items but since I pre-ordered the game for 39.99$ already at futureshop and the in-game items are not weapons or armors or anything useful, wasting 99$ + taxes just for that isn't worth it at all.
It's cheaper then it was originally gonna be(was gonna cost 120), but It's still kind've expensive, since this CE Isn't much more then every other game's CE(which usually cost 80 tops, and even that is a little high in most cases for what you get).
It's not "too" bad(120 would've been a major ripoff though that's for sure). More or less they are charging 20 bucks for the USB drive, so I would say it would come down to how much you want that, and how good you think D3 is/is gonna be(I want it bad personally, but if D3 doesn't show a big step in the right dirrection, I can't warrant spending so much money).

I wonder if there's some way to order the CE but have a digital download so you can play at midnight.
I know Stardock does that(ordering their game, lets you also DL the digital version for free), but I don't know if Blizzard does(I would think they would've announced it by now, if they were planning to allow such).
If it is at all possible, you'll have to order it dirrectly from the Blizzard site anyway, so I strongly suggest just keeping an eye on the Blizzard site(if you have a WoW account, you can ask on the Blizzard forums, perhaps you'll get a blue to post), if then even intend to allow this, they will post a message somewhere on their site, claiming you can do such.

I don't have an active WoW account, I've been clean for about 2 years now.
It would really suck not being able to play on day one, in the past I've been let down by several different retailers and not got games on release day, if that was to happen with Diablo III I would be gutted.

Yea it doesn't make sense for people not to be allowed to DL the digital copy for free, if they ordered the game, but then again it doesn't make sense for companies to charge full retail price for a worthless digital copy either.
Yea retailers these days are slacking off when it comes to pre-orders being delivered on time or stores having enough product to go around.

LOL this is EXACTLY how I describe my departure from WoW to friends. It was like a bad drug habit...
In regard to OP, I think anyone that's an active member on this fan/community site AND has the monetary means to dish out the ~$100 for the CE, will be buying it no doubt.
It is definitely worth the price for a game that we have been waiting 10+ years for. I personally don't buy games too often... I only play PC games, and will typically play a given game for a few months before buying a new one. With that said, $100 is a GREAT investment for something that I will no doubt be playing for years to come, which has items that will hold a certain "sentimental value."

Halo Reach Legendary Edition $150

Perhaps you didn't see the ******* "usually" before that.
Also that doesn't change the fact those few you posted, are insanely overpriced, so what's your point again lol.

My point is that Collectors Editions are USUALLY around $100, and in fact $100 is a low ball for MOST CE's.
