So making the same loot drop on every act was a nice balancing. ilvl63 used to drop more frequently on act 3 and act 4. Which is cool. BUT what about act difficulties?
Heres the story: i got this monk and i usually farm ACT 1 mp8 - mp9 like a sir. And im like "lets try something different. I should farm a little of act 4".
I went in there, on the same mp levels. And i died. A lot. So that made my adrenaline pump, which is really good, because it felt like a challenge.
Ultimately it got me "Why struggle here, instead of chilling on the same mp level (same xp/loot) on another act?"
So that is the question! Why should anyone bother farming ACT 4? The challenge is there, which is great, but doesnt feel more rewarding. The greater the challenge, the greater the rewards.
What do you think about all that? Am i alone here?(warden)
I dont see anyone bothering on this issue, its kinda strange...
The current system gives the flexibility of "choice". You can farm efficiently to get gear and go in act 1 or have more fun but doing it less efficient in the higher acts. From seeing various posts here over the last year a lot of people seem to be in favour of efficiency and could care less about adventure. So this is the best way I can explain what you’re experiencing.

I think ultimately you always have the problem of, if there's a place that's most rewarding, that is where the informed players will feel obligated to play. So then you get back into the issue they were trying to solve by making everything level 63 - no options on where to play. It's like an endless cycle.
If efficiency is most important to you, there will always be a place that's most efficient. If you want some variety, you'll have to give up some efficiency. It's not so bad - get off the item grind treadmill for a little while and show Act IV who's boss.
