Made a new addition today in the form of a new tab.
Added 'Full Gear Comparison' tab to make it easier to see the stats of a second gear set. This should be easier to use when trying to compare upgrading or swapping multiple items than using the 'Equipped Comparison' tab.
I have a little problem and i hope someone can help me.
I try the calculator with only two items equipped but i get a wrong dps in the spreedsheat!
Here the screens

It's the same if i use my normal equip.
I hope some of you can say me what i make wrong
PS: Please excuse my bad englisch:)
best regards
I think it's your amulet. I believe it has some hidden bonus damage on it. How much average damage does it show when you right click and select "Find Similar Items" in the AH? My guess is it says 58, despite it only showing an average of 48 on the item. Do the calculations work with your other items if you don't use the amulet?
From what I've read I think it's a bug that occurs on items that roll minmax and min affixes. It ends up only displaying the minmax roll (30-66 in your case) and leaves out the extra +min damage (+20 in your case).
I believe the extra bonus damage also can be determined by using the "Search for similar items" on AH feature, since it automatically puts the average damage in the search area, but it uses the actual average damage and not the displayed damage. There's been quite a few people posting about similar issues in the past.
Small Update, but probably one that people have been wanting.
Added option for ruby in weapon slot to both Equipped Items and Full Gear Comparison tabs. Just put the average damage value in the appropriate box. For example, use 160 for a Marq ruby.
Added Calculations to display what your dps would be with a Marq Emerald or Marq Ruby for quick comparison. It is displayed under the follower dps/EHP for both the appropriate tabs
I also added Damage Reduction outputs for the Equipeed Items and Full Gear Comparison tab so you can see precisely how much total DR you have. There's also a box below it showing your fractional damage taken, if you prefer.
In the Full Gear Comparison tab, I have included DR also, and the ratio of damage taken so you can see how much more damage you take for a given gear set up. I like to use that to see how much my damage taken changes by using GC and/or Energy Armor with various runes.

You need to put 0.25 attacks per second in the box in the weapon column.
I could, but there's a couple issues with that. First it would give a value that is different from the in game dps value. Second, there's some kind of diminishing returns with bonus to elite damage that makes it annoying at best to calculate with more than 1 piece, especially if there's any number of slots for the bonus damage (weapon, rings, chest, helm, maybe others).
The actual bonus is something like 100*(1-(1-Bonus1)*(1-Bonus2)*(1-Bonus3)...). With one piece, like a SoJ, that just gives 100(1-(1-.30)) = 30% bonus damage. If you add another 4%, say from a SC, the actual bonus is 32.8%, so you only gain 2.8% from the SC. Compared to using just the SoJ that ends up being just a 2.15% increase in dps against elites (1.328/1.30). Thus stacking bonus vs elites isn't very useful beyond a SoJ.
Otherwise, if you want to know your effective dps against elites with a SoJ, you can manually multiply the dps by 1.xx where xx is the % bonus, which is 30% for a perfect SoJ.
I suppose I could just put a couple boxes in where you can add bonus vs elites. 5 boxes should suffice, and then have a readout of the effective dps vs elites.
Well I learnt something new today. Didn't realize there was diminishing returns. Are the diminishing returns based on the number of pieces that have elite dmg or based on going beyond a cap (30%). For example if I have a storm crow with 6 and unity with 4 will my effective dmg against elites be less than 10?
But don't you have the same diminishing returns for elemental damage as well, e.g., when using a Triumvirate and a Tal Rasha's amulet? Couldn't you just use that part of the formula?
I agree with your other argument though, it's kind of nice that the spreadsheet aligns so nicely with the char sheet DPS, and real DPS is a completely different topic anyways (and let's not even talk about other things such as "+x% damage to demons" and so on).
Damn, sometimes I wish back the good old WoW times where you could log everything and mod the hell out of your game.
The elite bonus damage dim returns applies as soon as you add a second piece. The zuni boots+triumvirate affixes do not have the same diminishing returns. They do have their own relative dimishing returns, since triumvirate with 6/6/6 will add 18% dps, but adding boots to that only adds 1.26/1.18 = 1.068x, or about 6.8% to your dps. It still adds the right amount of damage though, so if you have 100k dps before triumvirate bonus, then you have 118k with triumvirate and 126k with tri plus boots. In short, each 1% from those adds the same dps as each other. For elite bonus damage that is not the case.
At the suggestion above I added a couple new features that are completely optional to use and have no impact on the rest of the spreadsheet
Added Bonus vs Elites boxes to show effective char sheet dps against elites.
Added Damage Reduction vs elites boxes to show effective EHP against elites
Added a box showing how much damage you take vs Reflect Damage. Negative means you gain life against RD. Sign of the box depends only on LS and total damage reduction

My head is about to explode.
100k base DPS, 118k with Trium, 126k with Zuni => that makes sense, because it's only 6.8% increase from 118k to 126k (relative increase, keeping diminishing returns in mind). But it only works because you add the 8% to the base DPS, not the 118k from Zuni.
100,000 * 1.06 * 1.06 * 1.06 * 1.08 = 128,630 would be multiplicative; 100,000 * (1 + (0.06 + 0.06 + 0.06 + 0.08)) = 126,000 is additive and that's what's happening.
So, where is the difference to elite bonus damage? (Meh, it's getting late at here, maybe that's why I don't get it - sorry.)

Honestly I have no idea why elite bonus works like that, but it's what someone else posted in a dps calculator. Before I saw it I just assumed it would be additive like the trifecta type items.

Not planning to do that. In part because I don't know how. If I did know it would probably take more work than I have the time or desire to implement.

Any plans to add elite damage calculation for the spreadsheet?
We could have with equipped gear and with rings swapped to a SOJ/Unity/Wailing Host etc.
I believe it would be very useful and the only thing that I find lacking in your wonderful spreadsheet.
