Build Guide

All my builds are tested with a 1700 paragon level character (full paragon points on all stats with 1.000 on main stat), with almost perfect items and extra 4500/6500 main stat from Caldessan ... with those facts, you can imagine the translate to your own carácter

INTRODUCTION

Punitivo is build around Condemn skill using Akkhan and Endless walk sets, and is made to push on GRs.

Punitivo goes up to GR106, just using 2 objects with special affixes for Condemn: Punitivo llega a GR106, usando apenas los dos objetos especiales para esta habilidad, Frydher’s Wrath shield and Blade of Prophecy 2 hands sword. Both objects (apart from special effects) increase Condemn damage by 800% each, multiplied by Akkhan and Walk sets. That’s the reason for this build to be the best for Crusader at the moment

Vacuum glyph is always used on Condemn builds, because it attracts enemies affectin more targets with a single explosión. Anyway, no other glyph is recommended as them don’t add nothing (cooldown reduction, bigger radius, instant explosion) not already included on the build somehow

Condemn builds deal a huge damage on the bubble explosión, so them are equaly effective against pools or elites. Also, as those builds are heavily tanked, are very good option for Hardcore games; a full and complete Condemn build can play on GR100 with almost 0 death risk

Condemn builds must be build using Akkhan’s set, but then we can combien with Endless Walk Or Bastions of will sets. The one with Bastions is the most common versión, But i find Punitivo using Walk set a bit more effective and with a beeter playstile

My others Condemn builds can be check here:

SKILLS

Punitivo deals quite a big damage, but give us a few problems to improve its mechanic: cooldown to keep PermaAkarat always active (object’s stats will handle this), Wrath costs (Frhyder’s shields replace Condemn cooldown for 40p wrath cost) and survival on High GRs. This last two will be handle by skills

Defense comes to Iron Skin (with extra mobilioty thanks to Flash rune), Shield Glare (blind enemies and also increase damage by 20%), and too scare to run glyph from Provoke, slowing down enemies

Provoke will also be a big help handling wrath, as it adds 30p when cast. Is a punctual help, as Punitivo wrath cost is too high. We can afford it just because 50% reduction cost from Akkhan’s set and combination from Law of Valor/Unnstopable forcé with Long arm of Law passive skill. Thanks to both, 80% of the time, an extra 50% cost reduction will apply

Holy Cause passive adds 10% damage and a heal factor as we deal sacred damage, but if Punitvo is going to be use don Hardcore mode you better switch it for Indestructible. Some damage will be missed, but we ensure that we only can die if sleeping on the keyboard

EQUIPMENT

6 Akkhan’s and 2 Walk’s objects are a must. As always on Akkhan’s set builds, main stat will be cooldown: we need to reach 56% in order to keep PermaAkarat

Critical damage (450% min.) and critical hit damage (50% min.) must be a include when posible, and of course also strenght; attack speed is useless on this build. In defense, resistances around 1000 (as legendary gem Esoteric Alteration is used no more resistance is needed), and balance between vitality and life

Weapon slot can be fill by Prophecy Blade or Furnace. Equip the best (10% cooldown, 10% damage and strenght) and cube the other. Just a consideration about Prophecy Blade: 2 enemies affected by Condemn trigger Condemn explosión; when that happens, enemies triggering Condemn are also hurt by the blast

Ears String is the best option on the belt slot, because we will need its damage reduction on high GRs. Vigilante belt, if in bad need for cooldown, or Witching hour, if the rift level allows switching defense for attack, are also valid options

Strongarm Bracer is the obvious choose as Vacuum’s Condemn rune will keep its damage bonus active

Unity and Convention of Elements are the needed rings. Choose the best and cube the other

PLAYSTILE

We will move taking mobs with us thanks to a non enhanced movement speed and the Vacuum effect from Condemn, while benefit from Endless walk’s damage reduction

When find a pool (or we make it as described), just stop and let Condemn explosions be. That way, our damage will grow with Endless walk’s effect. From this position, use skills to keep the fight and survival:

  • Cast Law of Valor constantly to keep cost reduction and ensure a nonstop on Condemn explosions
  • Cast Shield Glare to stop emey’s attacks blinding them, while dealing extra 20% damage
  • When Shield Glare effect disappears, cast Iron Skin. It will cut incoming damage by half and will allow to move faster and through enemies, thanks to its glyph. Use this to relocate in case of danger, but specially to seek for Oculus ring áreas from your follower
  • Cast provoke to slow down enemies when wrath bonus is in need. Make sure Cobdemn esplosions never stop

Try to make all those actionswith the mínimum movement when engaged on a fight, improving damage bonus from Endless walk set

Use the Templar as Follower, with Unity and Oculus rings, and make sure Wrath regeneration skill is selected
