Build Guide
Thanks to Rhykker for sharing this build with us on youtube!! Great build and I think this will be great even when live comes out. Let's get some comments going to help make this build better.
Hey guys! Rhykker shared some information with me that was useful! Here is a copy of what he said:
Hey guys! Just wanted to quickly hop in here and clarify something: While this is my build guide, I am not the original creator of this build. I tried to track down the original creator, but all I found were people arguing over who truly created it first.
To answer some questions: you want cold damage on wrists and amulet; corpse lance deals cold damage and will be the most significant damage source outside of mirinae. Area Damage is not important for this build.
Thank you to Daleme2 for sharing this video here!

Check out Rhyyker's new build I posted today. BLOODSTORM!

Rhyyker's runs like 50+% CDR unbuffed
well travis and the gang fucked this build
Good thing we have a PTR so you can just wait and nerf shit right after release anyway. Good shit.
A week plus into the fresh season and I am pissed they nerfed this build. I cannot get into the Corpse Lancer or the Singularity pet builds...bleh
I am curious to hear this as well. I just crafted this build for the season, and it is still very viable. I am using Bane of the Stricken instead of Mirinae and able to push quite well. 76 is my highest.
I started out using this build almost exactly. Last night I decided, let's try it with corpse explosion and grasp of essence. It's not as strong against rift guardians, but clears out trash super fast. Overall probably not as strong, but still fun for a little change of pace.
The cold run on corpse explosion procs ancient parthan defenders like mad. Give it a try!
Tonight I plan on switching grasp of essence back to aquila, and then (gasp) switching out decrepify for corpse lance. I'm hoping I'll have enough curse power through the corroded fang, plus plenty of trash and single target damage from both corpse skills. I may end up needing a defensive gem with this setup.
I have Decripify: Dizzying Curse on my bar and Trag'Oul's Corroded Fang in the cube. Using Grim Scythe: Cursed Scythe applies a RANDOM curse apparently, and not just the Dizzying Curse. You can test this by manually casting Dizzying Curse on some mobs, and you'll see a specific icon floating above their head. When you do not manually cast Dizzying Curse, and use only Grim Scythe, you sometimes see a different icon floating above their head. So if you want to ensure you're debuffing the damage output of the mobs, you might want to manually cast Dizzying Curse.
For those comparing this scenario to that of other items that proc a specific skill, this item is different. Cursed Scythe procs a random curse. Trag'Oul's only increases the % chance of that specific rune's proc rate, and does not proc an active ability, such as "Decripify" (nor does the item state it procs an active ability). Other examples of items have specified the base active ability, and if you have that base active ability on your bar with a rune, then the base ability is proc'd with the selected rune. In fact, if you don't have the rune Cursed Scythe selected, Trag'Oul's doesn't apply any curse to mobs, which makes sense based on its description. Again, very different from other items that proc base abilities.
I have confirmed that the Curse Scythe rune of Grim Scythe will apply a RANDOM of the 3 available curses. You don't always land Decrepify on the first swing. Meaning to say there are chances where you land Decrepify on the LAST swing. (You will notice a greyish-white thingy on top of the mobs head and Decrepify is the Bottom 1/3 of the design. It's a stacking design)
The purpose of having Decrepify on the slot is to allow you to spam on packs of mobs to 1. Slow them and 2. Reduce their damage done and move on until you find a good cluster or an Elite Pack to allow you to Lance them in a hit.
Summary, you need the rune on the slot to spam and to land Decrepify on a 100% first attempt and in a wider area and greater range.

I love this build. I've been playing the LazyStorm build since I started back with the necro and this variant has the firepower I need to do higher grifts.
I use Gem of Efficacious Toxin instead of Mirinae and I swapped Grim Scythe for Aura of Fraility. To get essence, I changed spreading malediction for Dark Reaping. I figure Blood is Power is better atleast to quicker uptime on Land of the Dead.
If anyone is hitting the brick wall of LazyStorm, I recommend giving this a try. Uses most all the same stuff and you just change a few skills around.
Also, this is what I used to do the 75 solo conquest.
Wait, if you swapped Grim Scythe for Aura of Frailty, how are you using a scythe skill for Dark Reaping? I'm confused but I'd like to try your build adjustments!
Yes in order to cast Corpse lance you must have a corpse to consume.
Maybe I am doing it wrong but I am having trouble quickly running a reg T13 Rift. I mean I can run it but I don't see how I'll be able to run much higher than that. I have the gear but maybe I am playing it wrong? I looked through the comments but I see lots of back and forth info on skills and such but I didn't see a rotation.
There is talk of using decrep or not etc and in the video it is hard to tell what you are doing plus my gem isn't procing as often as I see yours procing. Thoughts? Help? I need it lol. Thanks.
