Build Guide
Death's breath farming build that can clear TXIII in 3-4 minutes. Average DB per run will typically be between 35 and 50.
In place of Goldwrap + Hoarder + Boot slot we place Sages + Wreath of Lightning. Energy Armor is used instead of Frozen Storm. I prefer the Pinpoint barrier rune for this one, but you can slot Force armor or prismatic if you want the defense.
Attack speed is slotted (as is Pain enhancer + Wreath of lightning) to give quicker paralysis procs. Enchantress is recommended.
Alternately, you can run with Hoarder gem in place of Wreath to get more gold drops, then slot Ice armor: Frozen storm in place of Energy armor.
For T11 farming, in addition to the above swap drop Endless Walk (run Goldwrap + Avarice Band) instead. This will give you better defense, and gold farming capability.
Even with the ABB + GW combo, still a very touch and go build, so take care when engaging enemies.
Looking for just a gold & key farming build? See the below.
For bounties:
Crazy build! Probably a bit slower than the archon variation but definitly more DB per hour!
Did you tried with Simplicity's Strength?
Weird question, in the video, how do you make the items show up with images instead of text on drops?
How about equip the Tal's amulet and then put the Myken;s ball of hate on offhand ? Plus Cube the Starfire
Why Movement speed in Paragon if you are constantly teleporting? walking is a none issue!
You can opt for no move speed in paragon I suppose. I just prefer having it there to ensure I can run quickly to pick up items, dbs that are close but don't merit a teleport. It's also good for Tapping pylons and doors quickly.
Also one thing I noticed, spells like Blizzard and Hydra dont seem to refresh Tals Stacks. Even if the hydra keeps hitting them and I am electrocuting, the buff counter just goes down as if I am not using any other element.
This is why I replaced it with Event Horizon (Black Hole) Its a good crowd control ability also helps bring together the trash and grouping them up.
Except blizz and hydra aren't in the build?

Like these two. the whole point of the question is the ice rotation, which is used very rarely or only once in the entire rift.
Tal 6 buff stacks on Cast of a spell, not on hit. Blizzard and Hyda will only apply a Tal6 stack when you cast them.
You want to be casting the cold spell in your tal rotation about every 8s anyway to keep up the 4th Tal 4 stack. Otherwise you're losing out on 25% resistance from that bonus.
In other words Tal6 stack indicator does not tell you how many Tal4 bonus stacks you have. Tal6 <> Tal4.
omg are you serious? so the Tal 4 is not like Tal 6? if so then that is SO DUMB. oh god.
by that i meant that you can recast only 2 spells and get the 4 stacks. so how does it work? do they have to be in a particular order. if you cast them all at the same time what happens? you loose out on time?
Hmm, check out this post I've written previously. It explains the Tal bonus in a bit more detail:

This post also has links to the 2.3 testing that BDF did.
I'm confused. You seem to want to use 3-piece sagess, and 6-piece Tal's, but you don't have a RORG? Am I missing something?
Thanks, not sure what had happened there. The ring slot was definitely out of order. I've updated the dfans page here to show the RoRG as worn, though you can use the MH and cube RoRG just as easy.
Sage's is craftable. Best place to find the recipe is likely by doing bounties. You can take a look at my other build (will post in description) that does without the sages if you just care about key farming.
Is the strange attack damage results a result of how badly bugged the Manald Heal ring is at the moment?
I go from melting elites in a few seconds to literally standing there and doing ZERO damage what so ever to anyone on the screen. At first I thought it may have been lag or something, but then I realised my problem was being reported by pages and pages worth of user posts over at the Bliz bug forum.
It just makes for really strange results. You jump in and burst down an elite 90% in a fraction of a second & then your attack either drops completely to nothing, or takes 8 seconds to even put a dent in anyone in a white trash mob.
@cratic:
I've been following your builds closely, I've tried the gold farming build with electrocute, the AT build, and one of the solo GR archon builds. I can say with certainty that I do not like the archon builds. Sure, they're OP, but too clutch. I don't like the constant wait for archon CD and the vulnerability and uselessness of my character when not in archon.
While I do not completely dislike the AT build, I do not find it as fun as the electrocute build. Is there a decent all around electrocute build with good survivability, damage, and solo + group play? Note that I'm not as interested in farming as I am doing well in groups, especially in the GR70-75 range. Most of my playing is done in groups. I'd even be willing to try a Shock Pulse build if there is any.
Out of all of your guides, unfortunately I haven't seen anything that I could use as described above. Your guidance is greatly appreciated!!!
