The Jade Harvester Set Dungeon seems to require a very particular setup to complete. I really don't know how the mechanics of the set work (along with the relevant skills), so I'm happy to do my best to help you if you have any questions, or to add suggestions from more experienced Jade players!
With that aside, the two most annoying things are the size of the maptile, and the fact that Blizzard decided in their great wisdom to have this Set Dungeon spawn with Writhing Deceivers, who are the half man/half snake Naga monsters that spawn around act 2, especially during the Belial boss fight. These monsters are notoriously annoying for not taking any damage when they go invisible (even if you know their location). Once they go invisible, they generally don't become visible and targettable for between 5 seconds or more, requiring you to sit in one spot doing nothing, or skipping them and backtracking later. I had at least 10 runs or more where I reached the end of the maptile, only to have to backtrack and miss clearing the Set Dungeon by a few invisible monsters.
Due to the two annoying things above, I highly recommend using something that gives you a great deal of speed. I didn't have a Manajuma set on hand, I feel that the chicken might end up killing monsters you need to gather for your Jade Harvester. My choice was to use Sacred Harvester (for the extra Soul Harvest stacks) and Shukrani's Triumph with Spirit Walk - Severance Rune, which will allow to you move at great speeds, especially when you reach the end of the maptile and need to backtrack to find the invisible monsters.
All the monsters also do a fair amount of damage, so you can end up taking fatal damage if you are not careful, especially while your Spirit Walk is down. I didn't use Illusory Boots as I didn't have a full Jade set when I did this, but I highly recommend using it for positioning in the middle of a large group of monsters. I also recommend stacking as much Cooldown Reduction as possible so that you don't need to rely exclusively on Grave Injustice to reset your cooldowns.

Build Guide
Welcome to my Set Dungeons Build Guides!
You can find general Set Dungeon information and Set Dungeon guides for the other classes at my Set Dungeon Thread.
This build focuses on the Jade Harvester Set for the Witch Doctor.
Requirements for Mastery
- Kill all monsters without taking fatal damage.
- Harvest 15 different enemies simultaneously, 10 times.
- Kill 100 enemies afflicted by both Locust Swarm and Haunt.
Location: Act 4, The Vestibule of Light. The portal spawns in the area where you fight Iskatu at the start of Act 4 in the Story Mode. From the Act 4 Waypoint - Gardens of Hope 1st Tier, walk backwards into The Vestibule of Light, then walk all the back into the Eastern (right corner), which is where the portal spawns.
Feel free to comment below, you can also ask questions or catch me at: http://www.twitch.tv/CrayonsMinD
what is your CDR ?
I can't remember precisely but I would say my Cooldown Reduction would have been at least above 50%. You can get it from Helm Socket Diamond, Shoulders, Gloves, Belt, Two Rings, Weapon and Mojo, along with Leoric's Crown (either worn or in Kanai's Cube slot). Definitely stack as much as you can!
That being said, once you Soul Harvest a pack of monsters, you will be in melee range and should be spamming and applying Haunt/Locust Swarm to the monsters then Soul Harvesting again, in order to kill the monsters and proc Grave Injustice to reduce your cooldowns. If you are having difficulty getting Grave Injustice to proc, you might want to look into getting some Pickup Radius gear.
Soul harvest dont stack 2 Time...You cant use on toon or Kanai cube, but Both wont stack more then 10 Time anyway.Use wormwood In Kanai on weapon slot
Apologies, I hate how confusing the build guides can be. I've updated it now, what I was trying to imply is that you wield either of Sacred Harvester or In-Geom and use the other in Kanai's Cube, depending on which one has the better rolls (damage/cooldown reduction).
I've also swapped the order of Illusory Boots/Jade Havester Boots so it looks like you're actually making some benefit from the Ring of Royal Grandeur. You can either wear swap between Leoric's Crown and Illusory Boots in the Kanai's Cube Armour slot depending on which one is better to equip, but generally it is difficult to find a 100% Leoric Crown to wear, so it's better in the cube.
Illusory boots,In Kanai and wearing on char wont stack effects ,remember the effect never stack in double, maybey you made a mistake on your build;)
cheers!
P.S good idea for the gem Mutilation guard I will give a try to see
Ah yeah I'm mucking around too much, it's meant to be Leoric's Crown in the cube! I've fixed it now, thanks!
The set generally has enough damage, just make sure to keep your Soul Harvest stacks high if possible, or otherwise wait until Spirit Walk is off cooldown to dive into a large group of monsters for your Soul Harvest objective.
Good luck!
I used a Ring of Emptiness over an RROG and replaced the Illusory Boots with the Jade set boots. This was because I didn't have an ancient mojo or a good set of Endless Walk and my damage was therefore pretty low. I also replaced the belt with a witching hour to add some more damage.
This was pretty straight forward. The only annoying thing was being left with 1 or 2 things to kill for the mastery and not being able to find them with the short amount of time I had to spare.
As mentioned above, damage is not usually a problem, it's basically mobility you're after via the mojo, it doesn't have to be ancient.
The utility of being able to sprint at a very high movement speed far outweighs the slight damage benefits you get from an ancient Shukrani's Triumph, especially if you're left with a handful of monsters like you are!
Thanks!
I think you're referring to the Seasonal Journey (Chapter 4 - Complete a Set Dungeon/Champion - Master a Set Dungeon) rather than the Conquest (Master 8 Set Dungeons), but yes I think this is definitely one of the most difficult Set Dungeons in the game!
I think I am missing something. I completed the full 6 piece set of the Jade Harvester and I have done every other quest on the seasonal deal but no matter what I have tried I cannot get the green portals to appear where al the guides say they are.
Tried normal through Torment 3 mode, always in Adventure obviously. Public and private, solo and group games and the ports never show...
any idea what I may be missing?
That's really wierd, I haven't heard of anyone else with the same issue. Just to double check, are you sure you are wearing enough pieces to activate the 6 set bonus? When you hover over your gear, the 6 Set bonus text should be green coloured, rather than grey. It's not sufficient to have the Jade gear in your inventory/stash, you actually have to wear the gear for the portal to appear.
If you are still stuck, I suggest pressing Escape and clicking Customer Service and submitting a support ticket for Blizzard to look into it.
This set dungeon is so damn frustrating. I either fail by having 1 or 2 deceivers left and the time expires or I couldn't complete the main objective because the eels were scattered and I couldn't harvest 15 enemies. Do you recommend waiting on them to reappear or just come back for them?
Hmm it really depends but I prefer to wait (even if it's 5 seconds+ lost) to kill the invisible monsters as you have to backtrack a long way otherwise. You'll see a few times in my clear where I will stop and wait, but it's also about being very aware of your surroundings while you are casting to try and see if they go invisible so you know to wait or move slightly forwards while they reappear.
It's fine to skip forwards if you are reaching the last area of the map where the stairs go down to the left and go back up, as long as you've killed enough monsters so that the minimap will show you anything you may have missed.
Good luck!
Tried waiting for them but then there's just one of these snakes that manages to go undetected by me. especially when you're on your last 20 monsters and then cleared the top of the map with only 10 seconds left to find the last snake. I give up, I'll just take my ascendant pennant. I could've farmed for another class set with the time I wasted on this set dungeon. Thanks a lot for the guide though. really appreciate it.
I definitely rate this as one of the hardest Set Dungeons so you do need to grind it out, hope you give it another go when you're fresh and not burnt out!
Anyone else frustrated by the presence of snakemen in the set dungeon? It drives me nuts running around the dungeon looking for the last two snakes who keep going invisible, and waiting for snakes to leave their invisibility. I wish they weren't invulnerable when they go invisible.
Hi joezbro, you need to enable Elective Mode in order to customise and choose the skills you want for your skill bar. From my main Set Dungeon Thread:
Have a read through the other comments and tips I have bullet pointed, good luck on the Set Dungeon and let me know if you have any other questions!
Yes any movement speed buffs you can get on this Set Dungeon is definitely recommended, as is having as high damage as possible.
It still requires an awful lot of luck to go your way to clear this dungeon in time, but hopefully now that people have paragons and the correct gear it will help them clear this Set Dungeon either!
Good work on the Mastery clear!
f*** blizzard, just trying to annoy everyone
Good work!
When Patch 2.4.1 comes out, the deceiver monsters should no longer go invisible, which will help immensely with clearing this as you won't have to wait around for 5+ seconds each time one of them disappears or backtrack to kill them.
