This allows you to run through rifts without getting killed, so you can pick your spots and create density. I think this is the best off hand for solo play.

I thanked you for the Helltooth builds (at least I think I did?) and now I thank you again for this Jade build!
It feels great that we got Jade back and it's gonna be so fun to try it again. Helltooth was powerful but tbh it made me feel more like a fire mage than a witch doctor. Jade is much closer to how I imagine WD must be in lore.
No pierce the veil? There's a mojo that increases locust damage (hence harvest damage) and your elements are all over the place. I feel like swampland attune lent would serve better than spirit vessel but that's just me. Physical setup will work well, you gain defence from locust and mana regen from haunt for PTV. Also you may want to try using OrotZ, it will just give you massive cool down reductions
I talk about the choice of Henri's over Vile Hive in detail in the video, both are fine options. Locust Swarm isn't near as much of your damage as Haunt, so losing a 60% multiplier for Locust Swarm isn't THAT much of a damage loss, now obviously you also pick up some defense from the physical rune. Both Mojo's have pro's and cons. There were alot of people running both on the PTR, one in the cube and one on the character.
The elements aren't all over the place, it's just cold and poison. If you run the Vile hive you'd be running physical and either cold or poison, so it would be the same argument you just made. You can always run Poison Spirit to make the elements more uniform, which again, I talk about in the video.
OrotZ was tested quite a bit by ALOT of good Witch Doctor players on the PTR, and the 3 rings in this guide all outperformed it. Unless something changes, I don't plan to run it.
How does Haunting Girdle work with Resentful Spirits (haunt rune)?
Can all 3 spirits hit the same target
Can all 3 spirits get all the deadly bonuses from the Jade Harvester sets against a single target?
I should add that i didnt purposefully ignore any of your advice on your video i simply just tend to skip them and at the moment my hours have been used so im on dial-up speed.
Regardless I do like the build and ill be sure to keep it in mind for reference when im trying to figure out my own
Ive done some more testing with this build using vile hive (fire rune) and haunting gurdle (poison rune) and without PtV instead using Grave Injustice and yeah, it works, i just dont understand why :'( lol. Do you priorotize any element at all or replace bonus elemental damage? I wanted to try for a physical build because PtV is actually usable with Physical haunt rune but it seems to just be underpar. Found an epic Ancient bracer too but it has cold bonus and armor (no vit) so i am quietly contemplating just what it is i am supposed to do from here.
Am I correct in assuming vile hive will add a decent amount of damage for a harvest? Fire rune performs amazing for damage, physical rune is amazing defensively. And I can't figure this out myself but do you need to reapply dots when using creeping death? If so how often?
damage and survivability (like -50% from helltooth 4p). You are naked until you cast SH, and you don't want to waste damage, so you need to put DoTs before harvest. And while putting dots you might be dead. In compare to helltooth, WoD - bam! -50% damage, nailed it.
Also, i think you are quite optimistic about 80+. It will require a lot more effort than helltoth (according to what i read on forums)
Thanks a bunch for this build.
This is actually my first time ever 'netdecking' in D3 and apparently it's super effective
Not pushing any high GRs for now, but I was barely surviving T7 before, now I just roflstomp it.
We choose to fight using the JD build, not because it is easy...but because it is hard!!
I'm digging all the Jade Harvester love in this patch.
I recently started running mine with ~35% CDR and Gogok gem for the extra 15%. Ran this in conjuntion with ORoZ and had a blast farming T10 spamming soul harvest and piranhados all over the place. Unfortunately that setup is useless for Grifts so I have to go back to this setup which works well for grifting, except I can't seem to push past 66. I can pretty much make it to the rift guardian with lots of time to spare, but get one shotted easily by certain specials, and end up running over the time limit. I have BoS, EA, and BoT as my gems, but I still struggle with single target DPS. Should I just stack +Haunt damage and hope for the best?
BTW thanks for your videos, they are informative and you're not a bore.
I am enjoying this build so much! This is the most time I have ever spent playing a WD. I got very bored, very quickly with my last one. Thankyou!
Is this build only for solo gameplay? And if it is, is there any way to make it work for groups?
