So, we have Health orbs, and the Wizard used to have a skill to increase the chance for Mana orbs to drop.
I believe it would be great to have orbs with different effects. They would work as shrines (as in temporary buffs) but only drop from slaying monsters. It would add another reward to killing, other than experience, loot, the regular health orb and the fun of it. They could drop very sporadically, so it's not as if you are buffed the whole time, and the effect of one would cancel a previous one, if it's still active. They should look different from regular health orbs, maybe all white, so you don't know what the effect will be until you take it.
The number of effects could be enormous. + attack speed, + movement speed, + resistances, temporary immunity, small life regeneration, + exp, + MF, basically any stat in the game
Nice ida i'm liking this one. This could be helpful sometimes withing hordes if they drop +att speed youd be able to demolisht he horde thus helping you out. Very sensible thing to do.
