    Ess of Johan might be handy on follower, but its proc is not frequent enough to pick for main (or cube)

    If it has at least cd/cc/os, eh, why not! But if it's missing 1 or 2 of those, probably not

    ya...i mean my only fire/cc/cd/socket..rolled blackthorns this season. shit happens. lol. my lightning version was a travs and 0 ancient kriders...looking forward to next season assuming theres less bots, some kinda ranged class, more balance, no exploits, one can dream... lol

    Haha, I think the game is being steered in the right direction, but I hope they fix the discrepancy in progress gained from mobs

    Also, new class!? Snap out of it:P

    Wudijo had a stream up a month ago testing cold build with ess of johan doing 62s. Not sure if youtubed though

    Out of all this time playing, I don't think I've found a viable Ess to use for myself lol

    I'm pretty sure that BK ring does not proc Intimidate. It was tested a few times IIRC, and it stopped working in 2.2.

    Oh man, I'm playing it the whole time this way, are there any sources for that? I don't know how to test that.

    Tested it and can confirm. -.-

    there is a rune on ROV that does actually proc bott if that helps ya. I think its the freeze one.

    truth, but it doesn't proc CtW:(

    Quote from iberion»

    you can use intimidate on your templar and equip bul-kathos wedding band on him. so all mobs in the radius of the ring are slowed.

    i'm with Ganjito_1931 below, i've heard it was fixed, can't test it now unfortunately

    My go-to method for CtW/ BotT procs is an enchantress with a Thunderfury and stacked IAS. She's just a ton more reliable than the templar who just stands there a majority of the time.

    this is actually so true, i've always been so pissed when my Templar just stands beside me looking pretty since i shoot all the way from Africa

    You are right, there is no slow on knockback

    2.3 will make it easier because we can cube thunderfury

    Aite thanks, I always dreaded using ES lol, too much aim required!

    Stampede does not trigger cull the weak, you can use entangling shot instead of evasive fire.

    With U6 polar station is best

    Oh yikes, is there no slow component to the knockback? Or is the duration too little?

    When solo with N6/UE6, what's your means of proc'ing BotT/CtW outside of your follower?

    I'm guessing with N6, the knockback from Stampede is enough for both, but what about UE6?

    edit: stupid question but does the hit from RoV:Stampede take into account the knockback effect for BotT?

    i only had a look at Tomas as i don't support Marauder's play anymore;p

    skills/passives

    swap Archery for Ballistics

    gear(enchants)

    weapon: ias->rcr

    quiver: ihr->Multishot%

    belt: get a Witching Hour

    shoulders: cdr->rcr

    bracers: craft Reaper's Wraps with fire%/cc

    rings: this is probably you're highest priority, obtain Focus/Restraint at ALL cost (the set will basically double your dps and then some)

    lastly, upgrade your legendary gems and perhaps Bane of the Trap as well, though i honestly don't know how people proc the cc necessary for it in ns (perhaps a Thunderfury on the follower and such or swap MfD for Sentry:PS)

    I might try 50s again...I put the freeze gear and ess/wydward on him...not sure what other ring to use....The only time I really come close to beating a 48ish-50 is with a perfect map and lots of good pylons...I just got tired opening 5 high keystones when all I got was anarchs everywhere in spider lair or something to that nature...Then the one time I use a 44 (think it was I cleared it in 7 min because of a good map) LOL

    if you're using a Freeze of Deflection, you may want to consider a Justice Lantern for that extra block, if not, maybe Oculus Ring for the extra as to proc more stuff. always look for as/cdr on follower gear

    why talk down people like that. if you dont want to be helpful, better to not post a reply at all.

    im sure there are lots of other people willing to be help and give advice here on diablofans

    by any means is he being condescending. He/she literally stated the obvious. You are undergeared if you are having issues.

    what is obvious for you might not be that obvious to others, im sure you learned something from others when you first started playing too right

    telling people to roll off dex, so trading the 1300 dex instead of 100chd would be a more helpful and constructive reply, wouldnt you agree?

    you were being a tightass, no need to justify your accusation lol

    The slow from Thunderfury triggers Bane of the Trapped but why would you want it? There are already easy ways of triggering the slow. Easiest is with Templar using Bul-Kathos ring and Intimdation or using Iceblink.

    Regarding builds, TF proc has become really bad with the insane power creep in the latest patches and I doubt it will be worth extracting its power.

    can this be confirmed by anyone else? i've heard people that this doesn't work anymore so i've ditched BKWB from my follower item list

    Quote from k33zhe»

    wait, so thunderfury on templar is not really needed to trigger bane? better to have some other weapon then like the one that freeze?

    the one with freeze, Eun-jang-do rolled with lightning damage in combination with the Wyrdward ring is what most consider bis weapon/ring combination on the Templar. though, a Thunderfury with lightning damage with Wyrdward will also do the trick, and the slow passive from Thunderfury ALSO helps with BotT
