I always liked the bracketed style, because people often name themselves with some underscore additions without any guilds, and I want the guild name to stand out... so [SICK]Username for me, but otherwise - SICK_Username. x's and the rest are needless.
Are you kidding me? It is one thing if there is a server where hacking is normal and people compete by hacking as well as playing, but it is completely other thing when the whole damn Battle.net consists of hackers!
You don't need a legal game to play with friends, you only need Hamachi - that's what I'm talking about. Currently, with old games, it only makes sense to play with friends or on private servers like PGT, because all other places, hacks everywhere. Even StarCraft! WCII and WoW work, but I play neither, so I can only wait for Diablo III and StarCraft II to buy, so far, no multiplayer for me, unless I get a friend who plays Diablo II/StarCraft...
The bad thing about Blizzard is their support of old games. I bought Diablo 1, could have as well downloaded it - after I went to the multiplyer, people in there were copying items, giving themselves 99999 health, casting apocalypse on level 1, etc... impossible to play properly.
Oh yes, we are... especially considering we will know each other well already. Of course, there will be other D2 clans that would switch to D3, they will be powerful as well.
I would like to join SICK, the HELLSING Legion under Elfen Lied. I will be playing necromancer in D3 unless he is not there or someone more interesting is, which I doubt.
I can only play Diablo 2 via Hamachi, I threw out too many versions that worked since I didn't plan to play multiplayer in Russia - way too expensive there...

Ditto. I was searching for information on a possible Diablo 3 and found this place. I never thought it was accompanied by such a friendly forum, though. Now I'm staying here even if Diablo 3 never comes out. *knocks on the pine table three times*
Yes, I prefer a more jagged picture of Gothic 3 or Neverwinter Nights 2 rather than the sleek look of Oblivion. Among graphical innovations, I would like to see proper shadowing and lightning. And, detail textures, something Neverwinter Nights 2 lacks.

Well, I think Blizzard won't let us down. Add a few classes, redo the old ones, change damage calibrations, add something new in, Blizzard always had wonderful ideas. Of that, I do not worry.
