You're complaining about complaining, what else is it but whining? Also, unequipping all the gear I've worked hard to grind for is the antithesis of fun.

Let's all complain about the complaints being made by people upset by the complaints that complainers are making about the complaints.

Personally, I am still all for BOA and only trading with members within the part in a certain time frame.

I miss trading but there's just no way to re-implement it in a sensible way that wouldn't just cause even more problems.

They did what was best and I hope it keeps staying this way, and for some of you I don't think this was anywhere near a lazy or as some would say..."conspiracy" act.
Yeah no, sorry it was totally the lazy man's route toward combating 3rd parties and the spam. Yeah it was effective, but we suffered for it. Was it worth it..perhaps.

I cry, you cry... we cry... together. oOooOhhhh.

I think what pisses me off the most is how thrown together the expansion feels. I didn't even get a cinematic cut scene for my $40!

BoA was blizzards lazy attempt to combat against 3rd party solutions, although I think they shit the bed on the implementation. I think craftables should stay BoA, but they need to free-up items again, at least until you reforge them..then its BoA city.

They've already taken steps to reduce people from buying gold by targetting the loopholes of people getting gold by selling tomes to reach the gold amount.

Trading is a big part of the game, and I do support BoA in most aspects but its really stupid you can't trade at all. I imagine if they do bring trading back, they need to create trading only games, or a trading lobby. Hell whatever they come up with its not a pretty solution, I'm almost borderline wondering if they shouldn't just bring back the Gold Auction house (which I doubt).

I think at this point they've gone to far to turn back now though.

Or you could chose to not play with the Item at all. Its a matter of your own free Will.

I found one, and i salvaged it...because i never liked Magic Missles in the first Place.

The Statement : I got it, now i got to play with it is pretty narrow minded.
And its also the Reason why Items get nerfed, because People run around with this Mindset.
You forget that min-maxing is a thing.

There are some people, like Alkaizer, or Jaetch, or seemingly also Bagstone (If he plays/played WoW, is/was probably a high-level raider as well), who will do absolutely anything they can to eke out the tiniest performance gain from their character. If that means abusing Mirror Ball? So be it. If that means abusing Moonlight Ward? Let it be done.

And no, people like this don't just exist in games. What do you think the Olympics are?
Min-Maxing is just the nature of the game for some people, I myself did the same thing. I remember raiding in WoW back in the day when you had to go get world buffs to do 40Man Naxx, this meant hakkar buffs, onxya head buffs, the whole 9 yards. People will do what they have to do in order to achieve sucess or gains as they see them. I wouldn't say Mirrorball is broken or even that ''overpowered'' I imagine they could tinker with how missiles work in terms of changing it to 1 or perhaps even a Proc, but its not nearly as bad as SoH was. It's just that type of item you can actually CREATE build around, which is something I like .SoH was just an item that you could get to crank out huge DPS numbers due to a bug in the items ICD.

    @Bagstone,

I don't think Mirrorball needs to be nerfed, its only used for certain builds, not everybody uses it, but you can certainly adapt builds to work with it. I don't consider the Mirroball to even be in the same universe when comparing it toward the SoH damage output. I think secondary affixes that provide unique procs or casts are a great addition to the game and as best as blizzard tries, people are always going to cling toward cookie cutter builds/specs and as much as they trumpet that there is build diversity options in the game, lets be honest..there's only a handful of truly viable ones.

I do use Mirroball, and lets say they nerfed it to proc only 1 extra, I'd still probably use it. If they changed it to a chance to proc 2 extra missiles..I'd probably scrap it.

Once again stay on topic, my gear has nothing to do with overall game design.

What's there to look forward to if they are just going to release legendaries that are mere side grades that will probably instant salvages as well?
@Revolutions "Once again stay on topic". I don't even care If I get an infraction for this, you tell me to stay on topic, yet your bullshit topic is about ITEM QUALITY. To which I will state again, unless you're rolling with all Best-in-slot items you have plenty of room to improve. I'm sorry there isn't a legendary that drops that suddenly triples your DPS. You can't even come back with any sort of valid comments or reasoning, other than ''stay on topic''. Your original topic was you bitching about items and shard of hate. an item that clearly over performed and was BUGGED.

    Stay on topic?

Why don't you post relevant topics rather than complaining about a game that has been out for less than a month. Sorry I'm not more polite (No I'm not) but these threads are ruining this forum.

It's hard to stay on topic when your whole purpose of the thread was to cry that you don't feel items are ''legendary enough'' to make it worthwhile for you to farm items and the only item you reference is one that was clearly not working as intended.

To which I say again, I can almost guarantee that every item you have can be improved on in multiple ways so stop the QQ.

"but I feel that this game needs more powerful items in order to keep the farm worth while"

Really now? So you feel that you need bugged/overpowered items because that's what shard of hate was to feel that you're getting a more worth while farming experience? Worthwhile in the sense that its easy? I wasn't aware that easy =/= rewarding/worthwhile.

Shard of hate was an item that was not working as it was intended to be designed, there is a big difference in nerfing it. They are fixing the item to fit its intended purpose, just as they fix class skills and passives to keep them in line with other classes/builds. This is to create diversity and allow for other options. If the best weapon in the game for all classes/specs is 1 item, what the hell is the point?

Also, who cares what Alkaizer is doing or if hes melting t6 or shitting the bed. The game has been out a month, is it rewarding that you're clearing the hardest mode in the game with ease in only a month? (I'd say no). Would it be more rewarding for you if you had all BIS items for your character essentially making it pointless to even play the game because you've got nothing else to strive for? (I'd say no).

How does the game need more powerful items? Do you need a magic sword that shoots teddy bears with laser beams that 1 shot all bosses to feel that your in a better place now with this game? I bet if you link your profile, you'll have an item in every slot that could be upgraded or improved upon in multiple ways.

TL:DR. The game has been out a month, stop the QQ.

posted a message on Is there a limit to how many items can drop on the floor?
I've had the game crash before. Me and my buddies filled up an entire a1 map with crap legendaries and items to see all the beams...pretty much had the whole main area covered by all the vendors.

I've opened up a full stash of caches with no issues..so I wouldn't technically say there is a hard limit but legendary/set beams do cause problems after so many. I think in RoS it might be more prevalent too because at least for me..I get graphic stutters and other display issues issues now that I didn't get before.

Yeah, I think the density is a bit weak, hell outside of rifts I almost think the mob density is too much (GASP!, yea I said it). I had a pony map rift level 1 and I got enough kills to hit 6% before finding level 2...it was sad..only a handful of cuddly teddy bears to kill.
