This is quite old, I'm sure someone else has done more testing after that. I spent the first few months of D3 being a pure tank barb and from my perspective aggro is not reliably controllable (which is why I switched to wizard). It's really not like aggro was never a topic, it was actually discussed in depth about a year ago, one of the reasons why I joined this forum ;-)

A few points I gathered after watching this video:

• You don't know what the level cap is in RoS.
• You still think that there is another class coming out and that we should take you word for it over Blizzards.
• You tell us how you spent millions on getting current crafting mats, the current level 60 crafting mats will become obsolete don't you think?
• It's way too early to be theory-crafting about builds. Wayyyy too early.
• You don't seem to have read any of the data-mined info, which is a must if you're going to make a theory-crafting video about builds.
• At the end of the video you say you should go and read the data-mined info before making other videos on other classes. I think you should have read it before making this one.

It's great that OP has gone out there and made a video to help people out, good on him. But darn it if you're going to do it, do it right.

My advice to OP would be to read the data-mined info before making any kind of theorycrafting videos.

This is a forum for opinions and discussion on Diablo III. Not necessarily speaking your mind. If in my mind, I thought you or the OP were idiots (which I'm not actually saying, it's just an example), would I vocalize that in the forums? No, I would not, because it's rude & unnecessary, and will probably get your post moderated. So this being a forum to just "speak your mind", I do not completely agree with. I was just pointing out that a few of the first posts made in this thread directed at OP were unnecessary.

And yes I watched the video. No I didn't agree with most of it obviously because I've read all the datamines. I agree more with your post than any of the other posts in this thread.

To get on topic, I agree that OP should have thoroughly read all the datamines before making this video, because you don't want to mislead other users with information that's wrong. And in my opinion, when you're having discussions with datamined information, you should tell people that all of this could be completely different upon release. And build theorycrafting right now is pretty much useless because between the first datamine and the current one, a lot of the skills values have changed. But it can be fun to do it for the hell of it, just to have a little fun being creative.

Other than that, I wouldn't say things unless you actually definitively know beyond a shadow of a doubt that they're true. If anyone knows or has detailed information on that, I'd actually be really interested to know whether that is true or not.


To the OP, I think next time before you make a video, make sure you know all of the available information about the game, and things that you don't definitively know, make sure you let the audience know that it is just your opinion. Otherwise you risk coming across as a know-it-all.

Well reading his replies in the thread I see what everyone is saying. He literally told someone they were wrong because he has 3x more elite kills than them. What a D-Bag. I will totally agree that after re-reading his post I see what you guys are talking about. I didn't read his Preface the first time. But after reading it. Uhh, who cares?

Wow. Well, I didn't garner all of that negativity from the post. I just thought he brought up some great points. Didn't read that much into it. I guess I'll just keep my thoughts to myself.

It simply amazes me that people think they have the audacity to dictate things like this. What makes you think you have the right to carry your torches and pitchforks demanding for someone's job to be taken away? You act as if he's a corporate wighead out to crush your Diablo dreams. Guess what, he's not. He's there to put out a product to make money, first and foremost yes. But when a majority of people abandon said product because of all of the problems, that's not good business. It's in Blizzard's best interest to put out a game that people will actually love and enjoy. That means more possible customers, higher morale for the game & the company. I'm sure he could have the power to just let both the Auction Houses remain in the game, but despite popular belief, Blizzard doesn't want to make a completely fail game that everyone talks bad about. Want to know why? Because it's bad for Blizzard's reputation and it's bad for business and profits. /rant

Glad to have such a wonderful gamer & person in the community. Read your wiz guides and watched one of your videos, you really know your stuff. This post made me smile. And the last bit made me laugh. Look forward to seeing more of you in the future of this game. Cheers buddy.

I like! A lot of the tracks remind me of Act V from Diablo 2.

I don't think they'll remove MP. I think they're going to change it in that it doesn't have 10 different levels. I think it having 10 levels was too much. It should have been much less, like 5.
