yeah you definately need new chest but 50mil barely covers IK chest and that's with crappy stats, dont know pricing for Blackthorne but maybe just buy a rare one and later on get a proper IK chest?
you can upgrade your shoulders, 200+ str, 80 vit and 60+ res should be cheap, your ring aswell, it has no dps stats in it, i'd suggest get one with atleast crit chance, preferably crit chance, crit dmg and + dmg or instead of crit dmg/+dmg you can get resistance if you fell you need it
gloves need upgrade too, get one with strength, all res crit chance and crit dmg (try and get as much crit chance as possible on them), vitality on gloves just makes them more expensive and they arent cheap as it is so that vitality you can probably get back with a new chest
gems are very cheap these days, you can get 90% or even 100% crit dmg in your weapon for a bargain and its a solid dps increase and a long term investment
bracers with crit would be solid also but dont know how much you can buy for 50mil with prices being crazy post patch

How did a ranged Barbarian work in D2? Jeesh, or a melee Sorceress... I never thought about how each class could be up-close or ranged, pretty neat system they ended up with there.

Am I the only one that thinks hirelings like in D2 is a bad idea for D3?
From what we've seen in the gameplay videos, when you get 4 players on a screen, there's a lot of shit going on. Adding mercs to the mess seems like too much.
Also, I never liked the mercs in D2 anyway... they were inanimate NPCs that didn't know how to not die, so I never got one past Act 1.

like more the idea of "weak" followers that add lore and a little help with solo play

never made one, i cant play d2 anymore (already said that a hundred times, always play again... now with d3 so near i hope its the last one)
