posted a message on The MF Leechzard
There is a thread in General Discussion outlining the problems with MF whereby if someone stacks magic find, they do less damage than everyone else in the group yet they are rewarded with more loot. I started thinking if it's possible to contribute to the group in meaningful ways, yet be able to stack MF and not really care your DPS is garbage. Thus I present the leechzard.

Spectral Blade (Impactful) runed to provide a 36% chance for knockback and 60% slow for 2 seconds.
Wave of Force (Impactful) runed for greater knockback distance and 3.5 second stun.
Ray of Frost (Numb) runed for increased slow to 46% for 7 seconds. Ideal for bosses.
Frost Nova (Bone Chill) enemies take 34% more damage while frozen.
Slow Time (Time Warp) enemies take 31% more damage while in Slow Time.
Mirror Image (Mocking Demise) when a mirror image is destroyed it explodes for 105% dmg and a 50% chance to stun enemies for 4 seconds.

    Passives:
Evocation - 20% lower cooldowns for spamming goodness.
Unstable Anomaly - Reduced below 20% hp you release a knockback shockwave.
Critical Mass - Critical hits reduce cooldowns.

In general group play, the main idea is to have constant uptime combining Slow Time and Frost Nova so that you are supplying the >30% increased damage buff to your party. In between those cooldowns, you can spam Spectral Blade with a fast weapon and very high stacked crit chance to reduce your cooldowns using the passive Critical Mass. This again allows you to recast the damage buffs more often. If a party member comes into danger, a quick Wave of Force can stun all enemies, and mirror images can take hits for your group and then themselves explode for stuns. Finally, if encountering a boss you can use Ray of Frost for single target slow and slightly less terrible damage.

While this build does very little damage, it would keep your group completely out of danger and allow you to contribute while stacking as much magic find as possible.
