I wasn't aware you were given the authority to decide what can and cannot be posted in this thread.

So you can quote? Good job, but hardly helpful.

Well, I never said is was a genetic mutation. It is a mutation, but it could be outside of the genes. Frankly, nobody knows.

I assume this mean you are bored of the conversation, and decided to waste bandwidth and cause the page to load slower by posting an image instead of just typing it?

For someone so flippant, you seem to have difficulty imagining someone else capable of sharing that trait.

Apparently one significant difference between gay and straight men is that sections of the brain which are more developed in men (Spatial Sense, Orienteering) are underdeveloped, while sections more developed in women (Seeing shades of colour, communication) are more developed in gays. So there is an actual difference, as far as brain development. Cause is, as of yet, unknown.

As for it being natural, well, as far as I can tell it is a naturally occurring mutation. Mutations are, in many cases, natural, you know.

Hmm, slightly better. You avoided insulting my intelligence, but still attacked my mental state of mind.

You said it was going to create more activity. Having the same posters post a half dozen more times per day is hardly more activity.

Again, the fact that the idea was finally coaxed out of you is not the point. The point is you insulted people for not being, as you say, "psychic". your OP was completely useless with regards to actual useful information, and when people asked for it, you implied they must be stupid if they didn't get it.

Bragging rights matter to some people. I mean, the Stanley Cup, isn't that just bragging rights?

I'm not offended, no, but last I checked Flaming was against the rules.

I know you don't actually see me as a family member, and I know it is merely an affectation of yours. I also noticed you have used it in every post addressed to me, and was wondering if you were able to avoid it. Apparently not.

So, ignoring you insulting me directly in two posts and indirectly in just about every other, let's see what I can get out of this...

    What I've got so far:
Teams of 2 characters from any video games.
Match-ups chosen at random between pairs of teams.
Voting criteria is entirely up to the voters (one might vote for Riddick because he is badass, one might vote for Mario because he loves the Mario games).
Team with fewer votes is eliminated.
Whichever team is left at the end wins.

    Am I right so far?

As for this being a solution to inactivity, I don't see it, at all. I doubt people are going to come back to the site just to click a vote button they don't care about, and I cannot in any way see this attracting new traffic.

Also, answering the question "Why didn't the OP explain a damn thing?" with "Because it didn't explain, silly!" is possibly the least helpful comment I have ever read on this site. First, you made us guess at random for what you actually mean, since you have some sort of aversion to saying it yourself, and then when your intentions do come to light, all the info is spread out through the thread, and notably not even in the OP. Real helpful for any newbies you may be trying to attract (to help solve that inactivity problem) when the OP has no info relevant to the discussion.

I also like how you go from mocking someone for trying to win to saying that winning is SRS BUSINESS and takes skill and intelligence in the same post.

EDIT: I'll be impressed if you can respond without attack my mental abilities or calling me your brother.

Oh, so we're holding a video game popularity contest?

Also, insulting the intelligence of people when they ask you for voting criteria that you didn't give at all is a bit of a dick move.

Also, that last post, the one right before me? Why the hell wasn't that the OP? I mean, TL;DR and all...

I am also here, though you know that.

    LinkX! A name I recognize!

I have the same avatar as I started with, though like Elfen I did change it in the middle. Ferret has had the same for as long as I've been here, at least.

And Sofawall read my second paragraph, it's not an item trading replacement system. It's has nothing to do with EXACT item prices. And you really can't speculate on which mobs will drop more gold since the game isn't out. In your case, Diablo 3 would end up like Diablo 2 if gold was that easy to obtain.

Which second paragraph? The one one would assume I would read before reading this one? Or the second paragraph in the thread, one which says little with regards to any concerns I have raised? Or the second paragraph you wrote on this site, which has nothing to do with it?

Also, don't we already sell items for gold? The problem is, there is nothing to spend gold on other than mercenaries. The problem isn't making prices for items, WoW has shown that will take care of itself. The problem is making a currency. In D2, that was (by and large) High Runes, because you could do something with them. For gold to be used as a player-to-player currency, we need it to be actually worth something. We need end-game gold sinks.
