Diablo III Remote Play on PS Vita
Turns out you can use Remote Play to access Diablo III on your PS Vita! All you need is a copy of the game on PS4 and, of course, a PS Vita.

    More Details on Adventure Mode
Grimiku and Lylirra gave a few more details about Bounties, Nephalem Rifts and Adventure Mode in general. Turns out you get a Rift Keystone when you clear a whole Act-worth of Bounties. Does this seem too rare or not rare enough?

These Bounties will be random, and require you to kill a particular monster, clear a dungeon, kill a boss, or finish an event to complete. They also offer a chance to be rewarded with a Legendary item.

The idea of teleporting or entering a completely randomized dungeon from monster types, number of bosses, environment, tile sets and lighting\effects was an amazing idea.
The dungeon experience you're describing is still in Reaper of Souls, but they're now called Nephalem Rifts. Currently, you enter a Nephalem Rift from any town while playing in Adventure Mode, but you'll need a Rift Keystone to do it. You can get the Rift Keystones from completing Bounties, or as a random drop. Also, check out all of the details in our Adventure Mode blog if you'd like.

Bounties reset in every new game.
Bounties are totally randomized - all players will have their own bounties (regardless of Act)
Bounties are a one-time kill in each game, but there will be a new different bounty if you make a new game.
Correct! Basic rundown is (as of current design, at least):

    - You create a new game in Adventure Mode.
    - You'll get 25 random bounties, 5 in each Act.
    - Once you complete a bounty, it's no longer available for that game.
    - You'll get rewards for completing individual bounties, rewards for completing a set of bounties within a single Act, and rewards for completing all 25 bounties in a single game.
    - Whenever you create a new game, you'll get a completely new, randomized set of 25 bounties.
    - Bounty progress will not translate from game to game.

Still lots of tuning going on for this at the moment, so it's possible that some of the details may change before it ships, especially how and when rewards are distributed.

And, as far as I understand, I thought you received a rift keystone for each completed bounty. It could be that you need to complete all 5 in an act to receive a rift keystone, but this is not anything I've heard or read so far. There are also no other ways to receive the keystones at the moment, as far as I know.
Currently (and this is still changing on a daily basis), you'll receive a Rift Keystone for completing a set of bounties within a given Act. They'll also have the opportunity to randomly drop from monsters within the world while in Adventure Mode.

Like I noted above, how and when we drop Keystones will ultimately depend on how rewarding Nephalem Rifts end up being. If Nephalem Rifts are super rewarding and lucrative, then we may not hand out Keystones all that frequently. Conversely, if Nephalem Rifts aren't super rewarding and lucrative (and instead fall somewhere in the middle), they we may hand out Keystones at a much more frequent clip. Overall difficulty is also a factor. Our tuning at the moment is focused on finding the right balance between the three.

So, on that note, what would you guys prefer?

    - Would you like Nephalem Rifts to be really, really rewarding, but in return not be able to run them as frequently?

    - Or would you like Nephalem Rifts to be somewhat rewarding, but in return you get the opportunity to run them more often?

Few More Details on Expansion Features
Nevalistis answered a few fan questions regarding some of the features coming with Reaper of Souls. Later in the topic Lylirra also mentioned a few details about Bounties and Unique monsters.

    1) More events and redone existing events.
There are oodles upon oodles of really stunning events and "cellars" (as described in our Westmarch preview here) in Reaper of Souls. Events and randomized dungeons have a huge focus, especially with Adventure Mode and Nephalem Rifts, and a lot of older events are revisited in these features.

    2) 'Purple' monsters being awesome.
The bosses that spawn at the end of a Nephalem Rift run are pretty unique and challenging, even more so if they decide to spawn while you're engaged with other monsters. Needless to say, fighting them is a very different experience and it brings its own set of compelling rewards.

    4) More specialized builds possible.
One of many goals with Loot 2.0 is to encourage build diversity through legendary affixes. There's so many that just scream "Hey, give these runes or powers a try" when maybe you hadn't considered them before.

As an example, Wyatt stopped by the Community Booth to chat with players and mentioned a belt that (currently) causes Health Globes to explode for a percentage weapon damage when they're picked up. Just the concept of that makes me excited to tinker with my Barbarian's skills and see how I can best capitalize on that. Ultimately I will end up in a very different place well outside my comfort zone when I'm normally pretty stubborn in changing my ways. ;P

One piece of loot really can change the way you look at your character, and I'm really looking forward to seeing the kinds of builds the community comes up with as they experiment with the new legendary abilities.

    5) A survival bonus rather than a death penalty.
This was mentioned at one of the Q&A's at BlizzCon. I believe it's something being looked at, though we don't have plans to share at this time.

    6) *LOTS* of legendaries and sets to find.
Oh my goodness, there are so many. Like, so, so many. I don't math so good, so I don't have a number on hand, but between a slew of brand new items and revisiting and redesigning current legendaries, there will be so much to play with and collect! As a fellow pack rat, I'm looking forward to not just looting some powerful gear, but fun and quirky things too!

    8) A way to unlock runes faster.
Hm. Interesting thought. Happy to pass it along.

    11) Diminishing returns on trifecta.
Trifecta is being looked at. To quote Wyatt, "We don't want to take away trifecta, instead we want to provide you with more options." It's not always necessarily about making the most commonly used stats worse, but the ones that are less utilized better.

I think... if I put any more in this particular post, it might explode. =X

Also, don't forget that we're adding quite a few more unique (i.e. purple) monsters to Adventure Mode as targets for Bounties! Mira Eamon and Jondar are just two examples of new uniques in the game. >.>

Those aren't new uniques -_- haha. Or do you just mean they're old uniques in a new location?
My question: do the purple uniques for bounties have revamped abilities/powers? Hopefully Mira Eamon won't just stand around and puke or w/e it is she currently does. Unless she's a lvl 1 easy-mode bounty. (that would be neat if Bounties themselves had random difficulty levels that were listed next to each one on the bounty-board...)
Technically, they are new in that they've been reworked for the Bounty system (they also won't always be where you encountered them originally). Same names, different experience! Let me follow up with Stephen Wong tomorrow and I'll be able to give you a few more detailed examples on how they differ. :)

    Ha. Bagstone.

A kinda neat and cool feature they could add for bounties is:

"Total Bounties Completed: <Number Here>" In Account Details. I think that would be cool.
"Get busy living or get busy dieing.."

    Regarding Trifecta.
You can't fix math. Exponentially compounding stats are a no-brainer. Small change in stat results in huge increase in damage? Small increase in any other damage stat makes the trifecta stat even better than it was before? Stop trying to beat math, and instead USE IT to make more and better items. That means killing or capping trifecta. That means making main stats scale linearly (additive) and not exponentially (multiplicative). Save percentage and exponential stuff for a very handful of exceptional items that are also limited in scope. Currently, the way the wording works, an item w/ "increases Skill damage by X%" isn't any better than an item w/ X INT/DEX/STR. Only the item w/ the main stat can be used for ANY SKILL IN ANY BUILD. Only a moron would choose a narrow stat over a general one. The only way to make it work is if the Skill damage stats so overpower main stat values, but that leads to even more and thornier problems, ones only exacerbated by a no-trade environment. Then you couldn't even USE a skill unless you built up a lot of gear specifically for that skill, kind of like Sacrifice on live today.

The whole point of playing a game like Diablo is so that you can reiterate your character's stats, skill points, and item build to become more and more efficient. Trifecta isn't the problem as they said, the problem is that no other stat comes close to crit dmg, crit chance, and attack speed.

One way they could make Trifecta less required is to offer skills or passives that scale much higher with non-crit damage. Example: Perhaps have a rune that makes Bola Shot deals additional damage equal to 500% of your total poison damage, but the trade off would be that it cannot crit.

its not clear but i think the Adventure mode should be unlocked ONLY if at least 1 character has played and finished the entire single campaign in ANY difficulty.

its point less to create if you are new player a character skip all the story mode, and go straight to adventure mode. personally i would not like that.

Now just give us and a offline mode like sc2 B)

Blizzard devs have stated that this is indeed how Adventure mode is unlocked in D3. So, no worries. xD

Exactly what i was going to say, i really hope its a SPECIAL place, not just cuz its random with monsters and the layout, we have that in whimsyshire, its cool to go once or twice, but after that, rarely you want to go back to, since it isnt that worthy.
I hope Neph Rifts are special for any reason, being good exp, gold, drops, all of them, doesnt matter, even if you have to complete 25 bounties to get a Key...Make it special...Or it'll fall flat after a week.

Will agree with this. To me, the Nephalem Rifts should be the macro version of a treasure goblin. In other words, something that is good enough, and rare enough, that you will want to break your normal farming/bounty run to go knock it out. The way it felt at Blizzcon (rifts were always unlocked for testing), was you basically chose between either bounty or nephalem rift runs.

It sounds like the current plan is you have to do 5 bounties before you can do a rift. Seems like a nice balance to me.

Yeah, but what we are saying or hoping is that it gets even harder to get a key just to make Rifts even more special AND rewarding..if its easy to get a key, it'll be just another place to farm...with nothing special but the random elements, which are nice, but lets face it, we are here for the loot/reward, in the end if its not worthy, we dont care as much.

I think part of what Loot 2.0 is trying to accomplish is giving people more interesting build options outside of just DPS-DPS-DPS-DPS. As you've probably seen, many of the new legendaries (and likely rares as well) will have pretty huge damage boosts. Most high base damage weapons now, for instance, are around 1500, maybe 1600 (if that even exists)...in Loot 2.0, we'll be getting more than double that, meaning a few things:

    1) Higher Attack Speed won't be as NECESSARY to raise your damage to good levels.
    2) High Crit Damage won't be as NECESSARY to raise your damage to good levels.

Crit Chance is different, because a lot of skills proc with Crit Chance, so that might have to stay high in order to keep certain builds working. But for the most part, going straight DPS, while still an option if one so desires, isn't the only avenue.

You're right that in regards to damage, math doesn't lie. True 100%. But as I was saying in another thread...also take into account that many new legendary effects WILL alleviate the need for certain skill or rune choices, and free up space to equip other damage options. Example...the Frostburn Gauntlets providing 50% chance to Freeze on attacks. That kind of reliable crowd control pretty much eliminates the need for things like Frost Nova, which not only have a cooldown but need to be activated up close. You may even be able to get rid of Diamond Skin and an armor spell as well, freeing up space for more heavy damage dealers, like Meteors, Energy Twisters, Arcane Orbs, etc.

It might be a lofty goal for the devs to hope that some legendary effects will get people moving away from the holy triumverate cold turkey...but using the same builds that merely enhance damage can get kinda boring. At least from what I hear. I'd like to think at least a few people out there would take a hit of a few thousand DPS if it meant their build has triple the utility and more options in battle.
Pre AH-shutdown Transcendence/Spirit Regen build, used only found and crafted gear and gems, could handle MP7.

Blank stats all the time are not everything. As 1 of the 1st barbs in the world to kill daiblo when it was still hard STR. DEX. INT. VIT are not everything. String of ears and stromshield can account for that. People think DPS DPS DPS all the time and think it defines the player " Oh this guys got 400k dps so hes a good player " Wrong. These are the same types of idiots that come into your mp10 games and get instant raped. Cant do any DPS because they have to AFK intill you can kill off the elite.

People laugh at my barb sometimes. How i use a sword and shield, How i dont use a wicthing hour as my belt. But i get to laugh later because people get raped 247 and i have to carry with my 90k HP 950 all reists barb and because i use brawler and punish i have 410k DPS. So not only do i have far more EHP than you can ever dream of i also make most people DPS look like shit.

Its called brains. Punish and Brawler gives 54% more dps. To that gives me room to play around with items that offer crazy def such as tribal bindings strongarm bracers and depth diggers. Think outside the box like the poster above and you can win like me.
