I've agreed with people about the blue mana too boring for the WD for awhile, since they were officially announced. But as I watch this third installment of a FnF beta WD play through, it's changed my mind; The blue DOES look really good actually, especially with the surrounding environments. I say defiantly watch the vids or play the game before we start demanding changes. =D
My thoughts:
Monk: Jade or Gold/ White Combo
WD: I really like Splock Blocks Model: Purple/Green Combo
DH: Hatred: Red/Black Discipline: Blue/White
Barb: As is
Wiz: As is

*shrugs* In some ways I do think the color is problematic... I mean if you don't know the character well enough that you have to look to begin with, then you need to find a new class to play....
Glancing for health well... if you're a Barb, that's all-right.
I still have a problem with discipline is that if you watch the blue half of the globe a huge portion of it is black most of the time. When looking at it on the gameplay vids with my peripheral vision hatred stands out quite well and discipline is just too dark to really easily notice. With hatred its pretty easy to tell where it is, without that blue bar that shows where the current level is at the top of the full portion of discipline I don't think it would really be possible to tell without looking directly at it for a second, and even the blue bar isn't that huge a help. They need to make the blue fill the globe more and just stand out more.
Have to agree with the whole mojo thing, not only does it sound cool but if it had the purple/green it would really fit the character too.
I will be playing the DM pretty much solidly and the colours are not what I was expecting really. They just don't seem to contrast enough visually. Hard to really put my finger on it. Hatred should really be darker either something like a black or a blood red. Discipline should be more controlled, not saying that the blue is the wrong colour but maybe something like a sky blue.
Toying around with colours, I managed to whip up some real bad juju lol.
Seriously though, I'm not that bothered about hatred/discipline for the DH. But the blue mana for the WD just doesn't seem right. I'd much prefer something more entwined with voodoo, like some form of bubbling thick substance.
This is just all a matter of opinions when it comes down to it...
Kinda silly to say something is bad or wrong just because it doesn't fit your taste and YOU want something that YOU feel looks better
And so the age-old "everyone has their own opinions" argument surfaces yet again. You realize that you could apply your same way of thinking to just about everything else in this world right? So stating what you did is redundancy at its finest.
The point is, of course everyone's going to have their own opinions, but it doesn't mean that certain opinions won't make more sense than others. Specifically, in our case, a large portion of the Diablo 3 community dislike the color combination that Blizzard decided to use and criticized it with logical concerns. People aren't just throwing out random colors and saying stuff like, "red is my favorite color, so I think the resource should be that color."
Also note that issues like these are popularly discussed because there obviously are a lot of people that disagree with the status quo of this specific design decision. People don't just nitpick at random things for the sake of quelling boredom.
we are still crying over Red and Blue.. they are perfect.. its offence and defence, if the whineing is about the yin yang, that is just another color form of martial arts...and another color style is the red and blue.. red as in offence and blue is defence.. ever heard of flow like water?? that is the defence side mixed with the offence or opposite, so more or less flow like water and hit like a truck. come on now.
think we need to just drop all the trivial stuff. and lets get beta out to the puplic

The health globe dosen't turn green anymore from poison in D3 at least from what I've seen on streams, it looks like you just get a debuff. I don't have a problem with the colors. I mean I would like to see something like voodoo or mojo but I don't mind mana. The only think that is still bothering me about the resources is hearing the DH say it dosen't have enough hatred for so and so.
i think they should give the witch doctor a very bright yellow "mojo". yes its close on the spectrum but very far apart from red if you look at them. so i think that should solve everything.
