After the sicknesses these people got from being in that dust, and the other various health problems they aren't allowed to even attend the 10 year memorial. What kind of sick politicians would disallow the people who were saving the lives of everyone around, at risk to their own health, the privilege to attend this? Not only that, they now also have to be ran through a terrorist database every time they receive healthcare.
Are you talking about the guy in the video?
I have never heard or seen him before so i wouldnt know.
Yes.
He's one of the "leading" conspiracy nutjobs on the internet (perhaps a better word would be "widespread"). He likes to twist his evidence and lie as much as those he likes to claim are lying. He also takes every single conspiracy theory at face value.
He makes for amusing gifs though.
Oh wow i had no idea!
So is the story true or false then?
The story is true, I knew Don would try to pull this, which is why i provided an alternate link to a CBS article. Which somehow their "official statement" about security is accepted. It's a load of bullshit.
Sit there with a straight face and tell me they shouldn;t be allowed to attend and that they need to be ran through terrorism databases.
Also yes Alex Jones may not be the most widely accepted media source but all of his "conspiracies" he backs up with news reports from mainstream media and government documents.
I'm sorry, but as a source of information Alex Jones ranks somewhere below apocryphal gospels.
From the CBS link:
According to a report by the Daily News, security issues and making sure that all of the victims’ families will be able to participate in the 10th anniversary of 9/11, contributed to first responders not being invited to the ceremony.
What kind of an excuse is that? Their comrades died there too, they're as much victims as everybody else.

Exactly my thoughts, Alex Jones aside, these people are being denied entrance to the memorial in which they risked their lives to save people, that way more politicians have room. I guarantee when we watch it, it's rich people and politicians. These people risked their lives and are now many of them direly sick from this, and they get treated like terrorists, ran through a database when they pick up their medicine.
It's honestly pathetic to see this, I live in new York and no longer want to see ground zero, i hope the politicians burn in a plane crash on their way here so that there's room for the real heroes.

It's a shame the politicians all want to be there to soak in the limelight like they were courageous heroes but the people who actually put their life on the line get shunned.
It is and I am ashamed to be a part of this city, and country for that matter. The amount of shit we are putting up with is astounding I want to revolt already.

Way to ask people to watch his new show before asking them to try and protest/fix that horrible banning. Seems like he's not much different than the politicians that he despises so much. Yes, it is a travesty, but this is no time to plug your show.

I found that a little distasteful too but show me someone who isn't trying to turn a profit nowadays.
I wish I could, but "everyone else does it" isn't a good reason to do it. But that's not the point of this post. Those first responders are great people. I can't wait to see the ridiculous reason why they're barred from attending.

They're not allowing any, which is why I think it's crap. They don't want people there who were told the dust was safe to breathe and caused no health hazard and now they're sick and dying. It makes for bad press.
Alex Jones might not be the most reliable source of information, yes. But i respect him for being out there and doing shit. I think we need more people like him, who are not afraid to voice their opinion against the ruling elite.
I'm with Daemaro on this. There is no reason not to invite them. There's also no reason that not all of their medical expenses are being paid but apparently we're just supposed to accept that too. To ever just trust in what this gov does is foolish and irresponsible.
Because Canada produces 95% of the asbestos products manufactured in the world and the economic job loss would have been too great, so they lobbied and fought us banning it. The EPA banned it in 89, but that was overturned in 5th circuit court. OSHA was tagging with banning it back in the late 70s and never did squat.
anyway.....
Alex Jones is a fear mongering Demagogue. Whats worse is, most demagogues are at least funny/entertaining to watch if you don't take them serious, he is just annoying.
Sorry, spouting off baseless accusations like a shotgun blast trying to throw something up on the wall and making money off of playing on other peoples fears is not something I respect. Doing more is educating yourself with the facts, not charging people money to hear you throw around theories that have no actual basis in fact, other then you can construe the facts in some random way that makes people think their is a connection.
Because of course, the government is always out to get you..........
BTW, back on topic, I personally wish that the 1st responders were invited, but I would put a higher priority on the victims families being there. Also, I don't have a list of politicians who will be there, all I know is that Obama will be there(sitting president makes complete sense to be there) and Bush will be there(president at the time of 911 has to be there) I would assume Bloomberg and Giuliani will be there. Not sure who else, but I seriuosly doubt it is a large enough number that they are the reason the responders aren't invited. If they were going to invite everyone who was involved and needed to be invited, they would have to have the thing at Yankee Stadium or something.
And again, this is a memorial service, which means it is honoring those who died that day, that is where the importance needs to be. They have had one of these every year for the last 10 years, and the 1st responders have never been invited.
