Haha, thats a good idea. I have a few other ideas for this as well, if I ever get around to it lol.
Breaking the fourth wall can be a double edged sword. If not used effectively, it will lighten the situation up too much, and instead of the more serious-like Diablo you have the funny, pokes jokes and almost anything Warcraft.
ANyone remember that scene in the end credits of WCIII where it had the making of the act 3 Human campaign cinematic? The one where the footman fires a catapult load at a Zeppelin. Took several footman to make the shot as they kept on dying in nasty ways. At one point one of them utters that immortal line "It burns it burns... the goggles they do nothing" from the Radioactive Man movie episode of The Simpsons.
When used effectively, say the age old referring to the genre of movie you are in as in this example "if this was a horror movie this would be the point where the music amps up and something grabs someone." it can lighten the mood but no so to the point where it is clearly evident is a breaking of the fourth wall. Sutble breakages are usually pretty good, as depending on what, and how it is said, you might not even associate it with a breaking of the fourth wall.
You make me jealous all over again. I wish I had your talent.
That sounds like a very good line for someone to say in the comic. Though prehaps the situation might be different, but the line itself is rather applicable to a host of situations.

-Humankind cannot gain anything without first giving something in return. To obtain, something of equal value must be lost. That is alchemy's First Law of Equivalent Exchange. In those days, we really believed that to be the world's one, and only, truth.
Atrumentis, you sir are so damn incredible - your style fits so well in the Diablo universe - Blizzard should hire you to make an official Diablo III comic!
You have done some stuff I find better than some of the offical art I have seen from Blizzard. Metzen still out styles you though, that guy is like an artistic god as far as I am concerned. Story writer god too.
But Samwise is a very good artist too, I love his little trademark Panda. He turns up more than you think. (it's on Illidan's blades in WCIII)
Your last week? I grow impatient. I'm cranky when I haven't been fed.

PlugY for Diablo II allows you to reset skills and stats, transfer items between characters in singleplayer, obtain all ladder runewords and do all Uberquests while offline. It is the only way to do all of the above. Please use it.
Supporting big shoulderpads and flashy armor since 2004.
No, I haven't forgotten. I'm working on the next episode now (the one that was just started). The winner will be revealed after this episode. I'm on holidays now, so it shouldn't take too long lol.
Good to see we still have a some fun projects going on around here, we used to have so many. Novels, short stories, random fanfic, comics, RP threads. Though sadly few seem to last.
I should like to see more of your creative genius, so please, I implore you, contiue to delight us.

The winner will be revealed 'after' your next episode?
Whats so enigmatic in it? lol

''Zubin, I've always imagined you as a crazy raver. The kinda guy that spends all night dancing to trance music while waving glow sticks and popping ecstasy.'' - Murderface
Oh yeah, you'll have two things to look forward to this weekend! Not that my thing is anywhere near as important as the WWI lol. But still, its something extra. Yay.

Should WWI turn out to be a let down, not that I am saying it will (hopefully it doesn't) but if it does, People may turn to your comic for some resolution. Be fore warned.
No pressure of anything, muwhahaha.

Hellz yeah.
Not to rush you, Atru, but a new installment would be shiny, especially in the midst of this week's horribly horrendous hype-fest.

But we all know Atru-san will there for us when our hearts will be potentially broken. <3

Is the story of your cartoon comic going to kind of run parallel to the WWI? Like the countdown thing
Maybe
Uni is hard work
Be respectful of his priorities, and cut him some slack.
Would that double negative mean that you like the hype?
