I already spent all my cash to buy all 100+ Int, 100+ vit gear and a good 1 handed weap for Hell Mode diablo.
I have no resist all gear so had no plans to continue but now kind of thinking with monster level 0 maybe I could survive the first couple acts of Inferno while I farm for better gear without being close to death on every single elite I found.
With Monster Diff turned off in inferno is it basically fighting hell mode mobs again?
MP0 will be almost exactly the same in Inferno as it is now. Setting the game to anything higher than MP0 will increase the monsters health pool and dps considerably.
Players however will obtain benefits from the higher setting (obviously).

Whilst I can't wait for it, I won't be cranking up my MP levels for awhile yet.
Well, I'm currently in A3, but I have no intention to go above MP0 for my HC char anyway. Was just curious if the game will actually be easier/harder/same for me at MP0.
I have found that without changing anything on my character I'm now able to do A2 inferno MP0 when I used to do A1. That's how much of a nerf the base inferno received. So yes, you should be able to handle A1 - but get some allres because that's just silly to have none.
Mp 0 inferno is the same as playing inferno prepatch. U need need magic resist. For a caster though u might not need much cause 10% of ur intellect turns into resist. Melee classes and demon hunter will need to buy resist gear.

Also, as I recall, Blizzard were saying that the current Inferno difficulty level will be at MP2 due to monster damage nerfs. Is that so on PTR?
