so i hate DH. for w/e reason im just bad at them. so of course im determined to get one through inferno on HC. played the game since day one, have 5 60 SC's and 1 60 HC, never understood why everyone was complaining about crashes and lag, figured it was just people with shotty connections raging....i was wrong. i have a great connection, never experienced lag really. no crashes, stalls, ect. twice now though right before i get my DH on HC to 60, game crashes.
i let it go the first time, but now im pissed. I put in a ticket but was curious what the common response is from blizzard on this. do they restore characters alteast 1 time?
I would suggest playing hc. The economy is a lot better. Even good blue items still sell for gold. Its a lot more enjoyable for casual players in my opinion. Just a thought.
This is the biggest reason I play hardcore. Combination of the rmah and a much larger player pool in softcore has created this issue where a lot of gear is over flooded so its hard to sell stuff.
I understand that hardcore is not for everyone....but the ah economy is a lot better in my opinion. Just something to consider.
I take my last final tomorrow and have a month of basically nothing to do. I'm planning on making a bunch of youtube videos on diablo kind of as a just for fun project.
My question is, what would you like to see? Is there anything that particularly isn't discussed much or specific type of guide that not many people have done that you'd like some one to make?
Sc is not nearly as exciting as hc for obvious reasons.
Auction house on sc is broken Imo for 2 reasons. 1...the rmah. 2....and less talked about is that gear is never destroyed. This may sound like a good thing at first glance, but in my opinion, I think what that does is makes it hard to find gear that's worth selling anymore. Only the lucky and people with really high paragon levels have a clear advantage ah wise.
I only play sc for testing purposes. If I want to try a drastically different build or see if a certain goon is ready for an encounter or Mp level, I will try it on sc and see how it works. Otherwise its just kinda bleh ....boring
i just finished inferno on HC with my barb and decided to throw together a little youtube video on everything you need to know basiclly on how i personally did it. has what build i used with a complete explanation, a good way to purchase gear, what stats i had at the end of the game, etc. hope this helps some one out there
I'm currently at 94% of achievements and want to get 100%. Any other people that are trying to get 100% of achievements and would like to team up wih me to knock more out, my id is vandizle#1414. Just send me a friend request and put achievement hunting in the comment.
I just hope they don't add crazy acheivements to the game that are pvp related. I'm trying to get 100% of acheievments and as a casual player......just really hope there's no "be number one ranked team in a season" or anything like that like wow. Getting in top .5% on wow as a casual player was annoying enough.
After playing the beta I decided my officla goal for this game is not to build one super awesome geared character like I did in diablo 2 but to get 100% of the acheievments. I know that's boring as hell for some people and even more people don't care about acheievemnts at all but ive had a lot of fun doing it. Mp 0 inferno is the same as playing inferno prepatch. U need need magic resist. For a caster though u might not need much cause 10% of ur intellect turns into resist. Melee classes and demon hunter will need to buy resist gear.
I beat inferno on my barb in 15 days after reaching inferno act I.
U can check my profile if u want to see what gear u need for a barb. I played straight tank the whole way through. Haven't gotten new gear since beating yesterday. Silver spire was a little scary....ill be getting another 50 resist all and little more vitality but rest of game was a joke. I stood in majority of stuff.
Ive played every class to 60 on normal mode and have 1 class on hc. Barb currently farming act 2. Prolly second most fun character so far. I'm not ww or ranged so cant help u there. I am going straight tank. U can look me up if u want. Vandizle#1414. I think witch doctor with pet build will be my next one since I beat normal mode with a spirit build originally. Heard a lot of friends liking wd on hc.
My understanding is that this purely depends on ur class. I am not experienced with wiz or demonhunter so not gonna say anything on them but for a thanking barb or monk, definitely enchantress for extra armor cc etc. For a witch doctor Templar with main goal of jusst loading him with vitality. My wd uses z dogs and gargantuan so another person on the field soaking up dmg is the way to go Imo.
