i just noticed this when i clicked on the updated rules on the frontpage and it brought me to the area showing the updated rules and i was not logged in. The page loaded instantly like all other internet pages do for me.
however when i am logged in it always takes 5-20 seconds (usually around 10-15 seconds) to load a page. This is becoming increasingly frustrating as i try to post and contribute to this forum... i try to read all the posts but with a 15 second wait between each page load it is incredibly frustrating.
now i ask, why on earth is this happening?
*extra information*
* i visit multiple forums and when logged in nothing like this happens.
* i talked to my isp for 2 hours in an online chat and they had no idea, they reset my connection, did everything under the sun and nothing
*i deleted my cookies and everything, and still really slow
I told you about this before when you made a thread exactly like this...
Precisely.
If I remember correctly, you (Num3n) were told by more than one person in that duplicate thread of Yore, that it was something with your specific set-up that was the problem... not this site.
I run Firefox 3, myself, without the NoScript plugin, and I have never had the problems you are experiencing.
well i was basing that statement off of the experiment using 4 computers. 2 being my own, 1 being a working at my isp, and 1 being at my old highschool when i attended it. No need to become hostile. 'hits f3 then teleports away and hides'
Num3n this is the second board where you are having browser issues. If it's just this site then get FireFox like others here are suggesting, Microsoft has dropped the ball with Internet Exploder these days. If they're other issues you are encountering making your computer experience suck there could be a number of things going on, I won't speculate because that list can be huge.
If the answer is yes you are having other issues, I'll give a list of things you can do to narrow in on what it is.

Confession, I didn't read many beyond the original (my eye's! they burn!) but I figured I'd throw something out there if you still needed a hand.

Or the way it's not coded for Firefox? vBulletin sucks eggs  Prone to so many random inconsistencies.
Hm... Is there such a thing as a non-random inconsistency?
Thank you!
what is that?
It's a firefox plugin, blocks scripts, I told you about this before when you made a thread exactly like this...
AFTERMATH:
holy great balls of fire, it goes so fast now, thanks equinox looovz u

100% default? That would be boring...
No, I run a handful of extensions, and the NASA Night Launch theme (with a few userChrome and userContent modifications).
