Cleave [Broad Sweep] - good core aoe skill, up the damage as its the main left click attack
Seismic Slam [Stagger] - wave aoe knockback, good for tight situations
Threatening Shout [Terrify] - Aoe damage reduction, good for party situation and chance of cc with terrify
Furious Charge [Juggernaught] - Escape or initiate ability, juggernaught gives some extra survivability
Battle Rage [Ferocity] - General dps boost, Ferocity increases duration of bonus
Call of the Ancients [Duty to the Clan] - Simply because Ancients are awesome
Passives - Animosity, Relentless Bloodthirst - Extra fury and survivability from the passives
Hey guys, this is my build for my favorite class in the game, the Monk.
The build i'm going for is tailored for maximum movement and speed. Most of the skills I've chosen grant as much mobility as possible, with some defensive abilities for healing as a backup.
This build is pretty much a casual "kill it before it kills you" build meant for leveling on the regular difficulty. There's a bit of defensive skills as well in the form of War Cry and Ignore Pain, just in case things get messy and I bite off more than I can chew.
I plan on doing a lot of AoE damage and chain-pulling packs of enemies, so whirlwind and overpower were easy choices along with brawler to buff the damage I do in AoE situations.
Wrath of the Berserker and Frenzy seem like amazing and pretty much mandatory skills to me, and Ruthless + Unforgiving passives just increase my damage output even further.
This build focuses on the sharpshooter bonus and keeping enemies slowed.
The sharpshooter bonus can rank up between fights making my opening shot an almost gauranteed crit. And my opening shot will be Vault in, Fan of Knives with the damage and range boost, and Vault out again. Massive damage in a huge radius and everything is slowed.
Entangling Shot to keep groups of enemies together and Frost Arrow (runed Elemental Arrow) to AoE and slow those groups.
If enemies are spread apart too much, Multishot!
The skill for bosses or lone monsters is Evasive Fire because it has high DPS and can keep me away from the target as well.
I think this build would work very well for PvE as Disintegrate with convergence rune would just devastate so many monsters, while homing magic missiles would catch the rest. Teleport and Time Bubble would be great escape tools, and time bubble coupled with meteor could deal out some serious hurt. Playing with archon would be real fun as well and let you deal with large hordes of enemies with ease. Plus teleport runed with wormhole makes me think of D2's sorc, but it would still be handy regardless xD
I like the idea of being a killing machine just rushing around dispatching all enemies. I know this build isn't literally viable and there are better ones, but it's fun for the fact that you recover a lot of health in a perfect scenario. Being able to just cast back to back to back all the time is just damn cool to me! It feels really rewarding to kill a thousand enemies by just yourself and this build in a perfect setting would do it with tons of abilities non-stop. Wrath of the Berserker just adds to the feel ( as does call of the ancients )
This build for the Demon Hunter has a good mix of skills and affixed runes that affect and pursue defensive and attack strategy. Summoning creatures and spirits will allow the ability to damage multiple targets at varied points around you, while some of the skills selected will heal while doing damage, including for summoned zombie dogs. Good for regular play.
Mainly an AoE Build relying on minions, with lots of HP and Mana Recovery
In addition, having a big bad voodoo for elite / boss fights with a group with a 75 per/sec Rune
Main Skill: Meteor with increased damage rune
Secondary Skill: Frost Nova with increased damage to chilled/frozen targets rune
Defensive Skill: Storm armor with lower AP cost while active
Defensive Skill: Familiar with increased damage while active rune
Utility Skill: Teleport with delay of cooldown
Did a build based kinda on the old meteor/fireball sorc in D2. Always loved the tactical "fire in the enemies path" gameplay. Figured frost nova would help with that.
Can't wait for the game to come out, need beta to scratch that itch.
Overall: This is mainly a Build Revolving around Summons doing damage/Tanking While the WD Plays more of a Support role.
Poison Dart (Flaming Dart Rune): I chose Poison Dart Since atm it seems to be the most Single target DPS and Instead of Chosing the Multi Dart Rune i felt Flaming Dart Had More Burst Damage to it
Locust Swarm (Searing Locust): This would be for Any Multi-Mob Support Skill and once again Fire Rune for More Damage Although also thinking about the 2 jump instead of 1 to get more targets wit this AoE.
Zombie Dog (Rabid Dog's): Obviously For a Summon WD This is an essential skill to pick up as for the Rabid Dogs Rune its either that or the Fire dogs So ill have to Compare Damage Although Fire Dogs seems more AoE-ish then Rabid Dogs
Sacrifice (Provoke the Pack): Prob would be my Hardest Hitting Spells but it will only be used once my Zombie Dogs have come off CD as to not lose my tanks and picked up Provoke the Pack to Increase my Support DPS wit Poison Dart or Locust Swarm
Fetish Army (Devoted Following) : Once Again i think this is essential to a Summon build espeically if u pair this up with the Devoted Following Rune ( -90 Seconds on CD) and Tribal Rights Passive (-25% on CD) because this skill has a 120 second CD minus the 90 seconds that leaves 30 seconds then if you apply teh tribal Rights of -25% on the CD thats 7.5 more seconds off being a total of 22.5 seconds on the CD but the duration of the army last 20 seconds so essentailly its a 2.5 second CD.
Gargantuan (Big Stinker): Yea Pretty Self explainitory another pet to summon with a pure DPS rune nothing to surprising about this.
Passives:
Jungle Fortitude (Reduce Damage of you and ur pets): Obviously so my pets will last longer
Zombie Handler (+1 dogs and 20% more life on Dog/Garg): Cant go wrong with a 4th Dog
Tribal Rights (Lower CD of Fetish Army, Big Bad Voodoo, Hex by 25%): Mainly just for the Fetish Army CD Reduction
I did not really follow Diablo 3 mechanics very closely so it's most likely pretty noobish. But I've taken my experience from WoW and Diablo 2 and tried to design somewhat balanced build that involves reliable CC, steady damage and few utility toys for when things go wrong. It's mainly focused on keeping groups of creatures under control while destroying them from distance, because that is what Diablo was always about - killing big crowds of enemies. For bosses and tough monsters, I hope that kiting with Strafe will work good enough.

Pve max damage aoe build for party play. Infict the enemy with exploding palm, then cause him to explode with wayof100fists and continue chain reaction with lashing tail kick. Exalted Soul and Transcendence would give give enough spirit to burst a huge pack and possibility to live through that, also cheap dashing strike for great mobility.
Basic skill is Dart with a slow for mobs that make it past your wall of pets.
Summons include Corpse Spiders that drain mana on hit, no mana cost Plague of Toads, 'Hungry' Firebats will be doing most of the damage, Locust Swarm that also drains mana (to keep the summoning going) and the Gargantuan with poison cloud.
Passives synergise with these skills well i think, Vermin increasing the damage of spiders/toads/bats/locust, Circle of Life to bring forth Zombie Dogs and Zombie Handler increases zombie dog capacity and health along with health of the Gargantuan
PvE AoE Berserker-type of Barbarian build. You pull multiple mobs in with Ancient Spear, use Frenzy as your main skill, then use the other 3 skills to deal AoE damage and Wrath to buff yourself. The build generates and uses plenty of crit and a couple of self-healing tools. Also, with the passives, you can continue to deal more and more damage to multiple enemies while fighting packs at a time. There's a little bit of extra treasure utility you get from using threatening shout as well.
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Some people tell me I'm going to hell. I just let them know that I've already packed my bags!
Decided to go with a heavy emphasis on the skill runes that will enhance skills to fire addtional rockets. By taking the passive skill Ballistics I should be shooting rockets all over the place and cause massive damage. I havent seen anything in Beta yet about the damage and aoe effect of the rockets but I hope they do area effect damage. By setting up skills to focus on the rocket skills should be able to take packs of mobs out at a distance and group them all with entangling shot. Sentry will provide a cross fire for maximum rocket effectiveness.
WHY? 2 REASONS:
-I FUCKIN LOVE SEX AND THE CITY
-ALSO, BECAUSE ALL THESE ABILITIES WOULD BE USEFUL IN A REAL SEX AND THE CITY SCENARIO
SO TO START THINGS OFF I DECIDED TO SPECTRAL BLADES CAUSE I LOVE CUTTING BITCHES UP WITH SHIT, AND
IF I HAVE THE ABILITY TO USE MAGIC SWORDS TO DO SO THEN I WON'T HAVE TO WORRY ABOUT RUINING MY NAILS
OR GETTING ICKY BLOOD ALL OVER MY HANDS. THE THROWN BLADE RUNE IS OBVIOUS CAUSE THE MO' RANGE, THE BETTER, ESPECIALLY WHEN DEALING WITH THAT HORSE-FACED CUNT CARRIE.
AIGHT, SO THE NEXT OBVIOUS CHOICE IS TELEPORT. ALL THOSE BITCHES IN SATC ARE FUCKING CRAZY AND ARE ALSO BORING AS SHIT, SO WITH TELEPORT I CAN GET OUTTA THERE FASTER THAN AN OBESE LADY IN THE PRODUCE AISLE. AND FOR THE RUNE, FRACTURE SEEMED THE BEST FIT BECAUSE THE MORE OF ME THERE ARE, THE BETTER.
NEXT I TAKE SLOW TIME... CAUSE... WAIT- THE FUCK-
ALRIGHT SO THEN I TAKE DIAMOND SKIN FOR OBVIOUS REASONS. ALL THOSE BITCHES, ESPECIALLY THAT HORSE FACED CUNT CARRIE, ARE LOOKING TO STAB YOU IN THE BACK WHENEVER YOU AREN'T LOOKING, SO YOU NEED A SOLID PROTECTION. RECENTLY, THE POWER OF BACKSTAB HAS BEEN BUFFED, SO THE RUNE I TOOK WILL ALLOW ME TO HANDLE TO WILD PMS-MACHINES WITH EASE.
KAY, SO NEXT I TOOK MIRROR IMAGES CAUSE THE MORE OF ME THE BETTER. ALSO, AFTER A HARD DAY OF DEALING WITH THAT FUCKING HORSE COCK MONGLING SLUT CARRIE, I NEED A FEW GOOD FRIENDS (IE MYSELF TIMES 4) TO HANGOUT WITH AND MAYBE GET A DRINK OR SOMETHING. ALSO, WHILE I WEIGHED THE POSSIBILITY OF TAKING THE RUNE THAT INCREASED THE NUMBER OF IMAGES, I HONESTLY SEE GREATER BENEFIT IN INCREASING THE DURATION SIMPLY BECAUSE I COULD USE THEM TO SHOVE THEIR COCKS IN ALL FOUR OF THOSE STUPID WHORE'S FACES TO MAKE THE SHUT THE FU-
ALRIGHT AND LASTLY I TOOK ARCHON WITH TELEPORT CAUSE THAT SHIT LOOKS LEGIT.
MY PASSIVES ARE PRETTY SELF EXPLANATORY, ILLUSIONIST SO THAT I CAN HAVE MORE FRIENDS (IE MYSELF) AND A RELIABLE ESCAPE MECHANISM, EVOCATION CAUSE COOLDOWNS SUCK MORE DISEASED DICK THAN THAT HORSE FACED TRANNY CARRIE, AND UNSTABLE ANOMALY CAUSE THE FACE WAS AN ACCURATE REPRESENTATION OF THE WAY I FEEL EVERYTIME I AM FUCKING FORCED TO WATCH THAT PIECE OF SHIT SHOW SEX AND THE CITY. FUCK YOU TIFFANY, I WILL MURDER YOUR FUCKING FAM-
ALRIGHT, THANKS FOR READING THIS BUILD, OBVIOUSLY IT IS THE GREATEST BUILD ON THIS TRYHARD THREAD, AND I APOLOGIZE FOR THE CAPS LOCK BUT I CAME ON MY KEYBOARD ONE TOO MANY TIMES AND IT IS KINDA STUCK.
LOVE,
Pretty standard Pet WD, have vision quest as one of my passives because I have 4 long cool-down abilities which lets me spam locust and firebombs.
