lol, well technically all trolls are people. but there is a fine line between douchey trolling and playful trolling
Anywho, guns don't fit the diablo style. They don't seem to fit in to the overall mood setting of the Gothic era. Though there were cannons in that time the ability to condense the cannon down into a handheld version wasn't yet conceivable due to the pure destructive power of the use of gunpowder back then would render all gun prototypes broken in one use from sheer force of the propulsive explosion. Also arrows would have been easier to obtain since the only materials you need to make arrows are wood and rock, while the gun would take lead bullets that needed to be cooked above temperatures of 621.43 °F and then made into as close to perfectly spherical balls as possible or else the bullet would swerve drastically off target.
trolls arent people, just like hookers and democrats.
^_^. but anywho, no i 100% agree they DONT fit at all. BUT with the grenades, turrets, and "rocket" and explosive abilities of the DH it seems like they are trying to put stuff like that in, so since those skills are there i wouldnt be surprised to see guns in an expansion.

They can still "die" when their hp goes to zero, though they go on the ground and stay there until you click on them, which instantly revives them, same deal for multiplayer.
you mean people can revive other players?
It's true that followers go to zero HP then a few seconds are back in the fight. Blizzard commented on this somewhere, they basically go unconscious for a short amount of time.
I'm not sure on reviving players in multiplayer, but I'll test this out later and let you know unless someone who is in beta knows already and makes a post here.
I confirmed this, and yes it's true, you can revive players. After they die you have a minute to click on them, there will be a timer over top of where their corpse is. I'm assuming when that timer runs out they get sent back to their last checkpoint, just like if you were to die by yourself.
One thing I think is gonna make D3 fun in a bun is watching your friends get executed while fighting Bosses on Inferno... then screaming in terror once you've realized... YOUR NEXT!!!!

this infos just show the diferent of diablo3.i think the auction house system is an imprving from other game since it can not only use the drop in game but also can use real money trade in auction house.
Shared stash and individual loot tables make all the difference in the world for me. Also the fact that I no longer have to brave the tediousness of skill points, and choosing to level up strength vs health. Diablo 3 is starting to look light years ahead of D2, but then again it's been 11 years since it was released.
Nerd alert:
Light years aint a measure of time but distance .. ;p
I like all Iøve seen and read about D3 so far.. Also for every patch, and every change of the skills, look more and more refined and balanced..
I looooooove it ... ^^
I know that it's a measure of distance. It's like saying it's "leaps and bounds ahead" or "beat's it by a mile".
#3 has yet to be seen OP. We have no idea what will actually end up being viable in Inferno.
comparing this to D2, not in general. the point of the new skill/rune system is you play how you WANT to play, gear is the most important thing for surviving inferno, not your build with this system, yes one build could be better then another, but with this system there's 100x more possibilities. read more about the system and go spend awhile on the skill calc, you'll get it.

I plan on eventually beating inferno while only using Zombie Wall...
lol that would be insane! probably take forever too because youd have to constnatly cast it on top of ranged creeps and if they run away your going to get annoyed real fast,

What do runestones have to do with diversity in build viability? That's just a matter of balancing skills, no different from Diablo 2?
huh? do you know what runes are in D3? lol. they completely change/buff the skill giving you infinitely more builds and far more power. 2.4 trillion possible builds per character to be exact.
and the rune/skill system is refering also to the balance, in D2 everything was horribly balanced thats why there were only about 30 viable builds in all. the new skill system balancing and runestone system will make infinitely more viable builds in this way.

Yes... +1
...
I never thought I'd see Diablo described that way.
