When you die in greater rifts multiple times you get a resurrect timer that gets up to 30 seconds. This is completely frustrating especially when I am trying to test stuff out. Why should we wait for 30 seconds staring at the screen when the devs could just change it so that when you resurrect you pay for your life in time and this payment will be increased by the times you died just like how it is right now.
So the poll choices are what do you prefer, to wait for 30 seconds or just pay 30 seconds and that way you are 30 seconds behind on your greater rift timer. So an example would be let's say you started a greater rift 5 minutes and you died, resurrected and now the timer says 5:30 without you having to actually wait for those 30 seconds to pass.
This idea is mainly aimed at single player but there are ways to make it work in multiplayer too. Like give players a separate choice to spend time or pay time when dead... That way if all 4 players die in a gr they can pay 2 minutes and be insta-resed if the map is full of mobs and it would be beneficial for the whole group to come back at once. Or one player ressurects and then revives the others so he will pay 30 seconds and then spend ~10 seconds reviving the other 3 players... It all comes down to the players' choice and i think giving us more choices in this matter is cruical.
Doesn't the health of leftover mobs regenerate in the 30 seconds that you are waiting? It sucks to wait, but that (having monster health return) might be part of making death a more effective barrier to GR progression.

This is gone for good since D3V...Enrage and Regen was one of the worst things back then. Porting to town just to wait out the enrage of an elite. So stupid...
They were some of the best part in vanilla. No zerging mobs down that you couldnt handle. It was one part of what actually made vanilla challenging.
I remember hearing in one of the livestreams or somewhere that Blizz doesn't want this in goups because it makes everyone mad at the guy that keeps dieing and screwing over the group which I guess makes sense. For solo though this is a great idea.
I have always hated rifts and have only played about 3 since the patch. As far as competition wise I think its a good idea cuz I think part of your ability to play should be your survivability. If you die every 5 secs you are being carried by your friends.

As usual, I'm sure the devs considered all ideas, even this one when they implemented the past and current systems. However this is not such a bad idea, just make it available for solo players and in parties, just make the living party members resurrect the fallen ones. However you need your players to have a control over their resurrection at all times, to avoid moments when your party is against you.

Way too complicated for Blizz standards and honestly, induces toxic behaviour and waiting at the next level and stuff.
It just doesn't work out for multiplayer.
HC is not 4 me with the DCs that Blizzard can't seem to fix. They only know how to TAKE money, not pay some out for good servers and a good software Devs. lol!

Well, i already have all gems and the ones i need lv 25, was a pain and boring lv up thought. What i meant was i dont do them anymore cause pass lv 30 its just pur luck based on which map and mobs you will fight, the loot arent even that good and as the topic say, deathtimer became really retarded, specially when you get os all time even wiht unity.
Bliz really neeed rework entierly how they work, or maybe get some original contents instead of just copy-pasting rift with dif rules (thinking of an arena stuff or map full with only elites).

There should be an option to restart at last check point with no cd or wait for the cd.
